Hi, U got an option between NSR n KRR. Forget abt the TZM n RS. NSR and KRR are the two popular 2B sports bikes. If u wan a stable bike, go for NSR. U wan more speed on high way, take KRR. I am riding NSR RR for 1 n half years. I found it very stable, powerful and stylish. One advice - try dun take from the shop. the shop will try to cheat new riders. Gd luck to u..

July 07 - Oct 09 - Honda NSR RR

Oct 09 - >> Honda Super4 Spec2

SP vibrates until your hands, legs and balls go numb. The Aprilia is very stable and quite alot smoother.

If cost is a big concern factor, get the SP. It's alot cheaper to maintain.

have you rode a nsr sp before?

i'm wondering why my hands, legs and balls dont go numb when i ride sp. :)

hahaha. but pretty accurate leh rage.

anyway, the rs125 is possibly the best in the range. got all the package. looks, handling and speed. but its more expensive compared to the rest too.

tzm is rare so you wont find one easily, much less a good condition one.

the other 2, KRR and SP, are the most common bikes for 2b riders and young p platers.

both are about the same just that which brand you wanna commit to.

if you looking to upgrade to 2a in a years time. go for SP or KRR. buy, use and upgrade to 2a. fire and forget.

if you sticking to 2b for quite some time, get the aprila, kicks ass anytime.

maintenece wise they are all about the same, except the aprila is slightly more expensive.

dont forget most of the SPs have coe ending pretty soon, so look out for that.

February 2011 - March 2012 = Phantom TA 200

March 2012 - August 2013 = Suzuki Impulse 400

Present = BMW (Bus, MRT, Walk)

For new riders: If you want sport bike, get SP because

1. Cheaper insurance - $900 compared to $1300 for 18yo

2. Cheaper spare parts compared to KRR or RS125

Get KRR only if you are rich and you got extra balls and don't mind dropping halfway on expressway because a well maintained KRR can bring u up to 150km/h easily.

Get RS125 only if you are richer than LKY because for one time engine overhaul it's 2k+ compared to about 1.2k for KRR/SP.

FYI, i am 19 riding krr. paid 1.2k for insurance alone. :( so i would highly recommend SP if you are looking for sportbike.

I wonder where you get the idea that an engine overhaul for RS125 costs so much...

I overhauled the engine last july. It only cost me around 900+ :p

Standard stuff.

RS125 maintanence quite simple lah.. Especially if its stock. You just have to make sure you feed the bike good quality 2T, change the gear or transmission oil after a few thousand km. Wash valve once a month, wash carb.

A nice MX125 would be a good 2B bike.

Get a good second hand one that is cheaper to run and less depreciation when you want to sell it two years down the road.

Italian exotic bike costs more. But the cool factor when you ride it....PRICELESS.
