I think they spend less time here and more time riding their bikes... :cheeky:

Good to see this thread alive again!

Though it's kinda amusing that we see the st3 instead of the sp3 here, whilst the 675 thread is neglected since nov...

But that's even better! No lines drawn!

hi if there are any kind experience STR riders around care to share ur experience?

Im a daily commuter, id easily do 50km per day and probably easily cover 20k km in a year. I saw the user manual online states EO filter change 10k km, sparks valve checks/adjustments 20k km bla bla bla.. all fine by me. qtn is if there is any STR here tat has high mileage and experience hows the bike reliability can share with me if the bike needs any kind of rebuild? top end? valveS? or are they quite lasting? the parts for replacement id imagine will be more ex than a Jap bike? im not talking abt filter and normal kind maintenance, tats shuld be normal..more of OEMs part replacement, prob clutch cable, rectifier, etc etc.. I dunno, this will be my first class 2 bike.

And im only imagining base on my experience with my husky; frequent top service, yearly piston change..yea thats a 2 stroke, i know..im just paranoid prob after the experience.. Very elegant, lovely ride but a pain to maintain. oems clutch cable is 3 times the price of DRZ..so is the rectifier..Lol..

cheers!oh and my choice im would be the graphite STR just like bro eddie..sexy as hell..

i recently viewed a 70k++ mileage Street R. no rebuild or major parts changed according to the owner. seems reliable!
