Brand new can be found @ Mah or LAB, but be warned of the prices....

 

There's no specific brackets for Super 4 across ALL models.

Is usually using either Givi's universal brackets to retro fit onto the bike, or, go SK & customize.

 

Another point to note is, for pre-Spec 3 models, have to use the below bungee cord mount/handle grab point, which is a weak point, combined with points @ the rear suspension top bolt point and across the rear number plate.

There's no top mount point for upper part of the wing.

 

hard to pictualise with all these words..

 

Customization is the way to go....

but be prepared of the quotes...

went down to m-tecnik to check out the box and get some advice from mr.ken. seems like the junior pannier and top box is my best option. thou i have to admit that the explorer still look the best but i have to lower my exhaust which would cost more and beside that the pannier costs alot more too..

 

to get the junior side, i would have to custom a rack, anyone knows how much? i read previous post that mr.bitingpoint used to have them.

Wingrack is universal...u need custom bracket to fit to ur Spec 1...one of the place u can customise ur bracket is Sengkwang

 

ANyway guys...interested in the HB xplorer...wondering if it can fit 2 helmet?

That setup, is super heavy. You really need strong mounting points to do up the rack.

hi guys. just wanna know if my vtec 2 which has a vtec 3 tail, must i use vtec 3 bracket as well if i wanna install a box? and anyone can roughly quote how much will the bracket cost.

 

and also anyone using tank bag from LAB? wanna know the review. waterproof? how big?

is it better to install box or just tank bag?

here is my storage list: 2 x rainsuits(those LAB type), waistpouch(during wet weather) and some files.

Not to burst ur bubble. Oncu u change to spec 3 tail, u can fix a rack. Be it spec 3 or spec 2.

 

Un less u cistomise ia rack from seng kwang

You can fit Spec II rack but not a Spec III rack. If not wrong must cut the tail section a bit to install the bracket for the rack.

Actually mus cut quite a far bit. I m tinking of asking sng kwAng to weld a bracket.. Or maybe fabricate a rack??

You can try to source around garage sales and see if there are any gd conditions one available.

Hi guys, saw a shop on jb selling give box and rack. Asked him abt rack on spec 1 he say have. Total cost RM 280. givi box looks original but did not see bracket yet. You guys think it's a gd price?

What box? For a e450 simply, sounds good to me.

Did up my shocks again earlier this week to compensate for the extra weight the pair of E45's cargo...

 

Loving it very time I ride out... Have more loading space than my EX ST1100 and even more when compared to my other ST1300 in which I co-own...
