Sweet in that case they are a decent buy. Do you have revo & would you be able to post a pic of how your setup looks on the bike?

Does the bags strap rest on pillion seat or under the seat, also do you need to remove pillion grab or leave it?

Thanks

another tie behind the number plate and 1 each on the pillion foot rest... so all total there are 5 point to secure...

The bag came with 2 rain covers... but trust me, it is a piece of crap...

Thanks a lot for that MSDS, excellent information :thumb:

Do you find despite the 5 mounting points the bags ever move? The bags appear to be mounted fairly forward I'm guessing they could be moved more back so they don't interfere with rider?

Hi guys, just wanna check if i install a Kappa K52L topbox, are there any downside of it? For example during highspeed on expressway etc? I'm sure after installing it, my rear will be more heavier of course right?

And also, Unique selling K52L for $312, and the Kappa heavy duty rack for $80. Is it reasonable?

TIA!

Ask aspoon. It's cheaper, if I am not wrong.

Downside is your friends will beg you to keep their helmet in your box. It gets annoying.

No box, no problem. SAF issue fieldpack, lashed to the tail. Travelled to Thailand, with speeds hitting as high as 200kph, no problem.

When touring, its usually the rider that give way first before the bike itself.

Sorry for my late response. Just called asphoon toh guan and they say rack is $80 (Same as UM) and K52L is $310 (difference of $2 compared to UM). = S

Im residing in the east, so i guess i'll save my petrol and buy from UM. Btw, personal feeling is that i think the givi 52L looks more nicer than the kappa 52L. Haha.. But too bad lah both asphoon and UM dont bring in those.

change to metal base plate.

the plastic ones, if I presume, are sitting on 2 extension plates secured to the racks?

the metal ones are bigger & longer which shld sit nicely onto the racks where you can direct bolt onto it.

E45 shld be Monolock, metal base plate shld look like this:
