You know what pisses me off??

The fact that SMSA and MSSC cannot sit down and talk to get their act together which I believe will end up with the premature death of motor cycle sports in Singapore.

Why can't they just work together to promote the sports and not themselves? This is the impression I am getting coz I really don't know whats going on between the two.

Can someone shed some light on this fracas?

She's just a trainee. Do you quit whenever you face every little obstacle on the job?

Play it smart and outmanuever her.

lol. she demanded i hand in resignation letter today.

I just did, along with my uniform.

I was hanging around actually because of the newer staffs needing training and possibly help.

But since she is more bugged about respect issue then of operational issues. Then there was no point in hanging around too long.

I really dont like working in sg. Where there is females around. Females somehow just tend to play politicks and games and be offended/play tough when it was not necessary.

Thankfully, I wont starve as yet losing this weekend job.

How long has she been training?

Ermmm......quite some time.

This new group I am in, was suppose to be created for her as her baby because she didnt manage to secure a foothole in the organisation from 3 different depts that transferred her out.

She was one of those acceralated schemes receipients kinda folks that was identified by maybe NTUC to become future leaders kinda thingy.

Almost like a scholars scheme thingy but lessor.

1st weekend back in sg, i shattered a molar

2nd weekend back in sg, I recovering from molar pulling

3rd weekend back in sg, I worked throughout Chinese New Year and my body clock went haywire for that remaining week. I was even sunburnt.

4th weekend, I was working thru a Bad Cold. Then I ganna this supervisor.

Now my face, especially the lips and nose still is peeling from the Cold virus.

My body was all taking a beating during this weekend job thingy.

Some guy promised me a job, but I think he is just stringing me along. Lets see what happens.

Full-time or part time job? Normally, if things are too good to be true, it's probably is.

For a courier service, vPOSTUSA has one of the worst customer service EVER! Their idea of customer service is by sending auto reply mailers!

Fustrated with trying to bring my package from the US to SG. Think in future I will use back Fedex or UPS liao. The lower price is simply NOT worth the fustration. ARGH!!!!

Rebuilding my dreams. But first, the gears

1) WP RS Taichi riding jacket

2) WP riding pants

3) Titanium riding gloves

4) Garmine Nuvi 550 GPS (US$259)

5) WP Komine riding boots

6) Arai Helmet

7) The BIKE of course! :cheeky:

I had the same experience, but it was from vPOSTJAPAN. Promised to return my query by e-mail (when I called them up) but I didn't receive any. I had to wait almost 2 months for my stuff to arrive. Shipping wasn't exactly cheap either.

Used to, but not anymore.

I've learnt it the hard way, that there is folks, who are so used to their old way of working. Suppress new staff that comes up with new ideas and faster performances instead of moving up to match the pace of new staffs.

Some companies, has a perceived way of how a person should look busy even when there is nothing else to do, or they assume that the person should by doing work not in their job scope to be totally effective....But when trouble happens....companies simply swear off all knowledge or responsibilities...and that bugs me more.

Can you ever imagine the following scenerio:

Bozz in a meeting. He insist on meeting not to be disturbed. You receive a important call for him. Took down the details in his phone book. Even send him a sms with the information so he can return calls after the meeting, which most likely ends after your working hour. He grumbles that you are never around when he needs you. (possibly to read his handphone message to him after the meeting.)

Or you sacrificed your lunch hour, to be with him while he is also using his lunch break to clear documents and important presentation and snatched some sandwiches which you ordered in for him and the team. He uses your secretarial services during those time. And when he left for his presentation and you can breathe easier and tries to go tarpao food for your missed lunch. Your collegues stops you and insist that you must go for lunch at the appointed time and later tells bozz to give you a lecture about punctuality about lunch times?

Another scenerio:

I've contracted a paper collection company to come collect used papers and shred them papers for you for recycling themselves.

Asked and acquired bozz permission. But old staffs, insist that its not a viable service because of confidentiality issues.

And the glaring irony, with the bozz seeing with his own eyes, that garang guni uncle taking out those teared up 'confidential' papers from our dumpsters in full view of lunch public to sell for recycling.

Its so disappointing to be working in sg. Where its not your work they have issues with, but with how the other more senior workers felt that they are 'not respected'.

Here in sg, they dont really follow goal orientated kinda management.

Throttle's question bugged me.

And it brings to mind another bug.

Was with this guy, who kind-heartedly, tries to advise me to take on a job at his company. As a secretary to his general manager. He asked me what kinda pay I want.

I reply: I've always put S$2k a month.

His reply: I dont think your 2 'o' levels can demand that sort of salary.

That reply broke my heart.

I wanted to ask them to throw away the items that I have ordered that arrived at their station and forget it. But with their kind of effiency, they will probably end up charging me for holding charges instead. so to solve this problem, I'm gonna order another item and have both packages shipped to singapore and forget that i ever signed up with Vpost.

Bugged by the fact that interest rates have dropped so much that I only get 1.2% for my fixed deposit.

Yet got a stupid car loan at effective rate 5++%.

So I promptly went to full settle it....
