Maybe you already thought about it but post all your items in the garage sells section, on gumtree, craiglist and any other forums as well.

A LOT of pulsarians never come to this forum. If the hand guards are a matter of personal choice, the otter items (riser and fairings) will be popular for sure. Especially at the priceyou are giving them away, they are a great deal.

In Singapore people always like to do that irrealistic bargaining on second hand items especially on forums by suggesting low prices. Just put in your add that price is not negotiable and original price so they can compare.

This thread isn't the only way to reach pulsar riders and for those of us selling something we must not forget that the big majority o pulsar owners never come here :cheeky:

The purpose of posting here is to share with fellow members who are active in this folder, so they can benefit from my lost since I have no intend of keeping it or using it when it is brand new.

What comments people want to input is fine to me, as i strongly believed i always has the final decisions since item belongs to me, be it i throw away or give away for free.

I got many stuffs thru this forum, and after considering, I find it doesn't suit my useage which is why i don't want it.

either better pick up or top speed?

just that the ride will be more smooth and comfortable?

ug4! split seats

so what size do i get? =)

Choice is yours!!! ..... :)

UG4 is similar with P200 for sprockets and tyres!!!

UG4 stock size for sprocs is 14 Front Teeth with 38 Rear Teeth with 520 Standard O Ring Chain (14T 38)

Now UM do bring in stock sproc 14T 36.

SINNOB : 15T 39

Stock MRF Tyre : Front 90/90 > Rear 120/80

...................

Check the difference for the sprocs size at RPM 6000, 7000, 8000 with 120/80 Rear Tyre on your 5th gear.

14T 38 Stock

6000 rpm = 81.1km ... 7000 rpm = 94.6km ... 8000rpm = 108.1km

14T 36 Stock

6000rpm = 85.6km ... 7000rpm = 99.8km ... 8000rpm = 114.1km

15T 39 Sinnob

6000rpm = 84.6km ... 7000rpm = 98.7km ... 8000rpm = 112.8km

you can play around here ... http://www.gearingcommander.com/

:cheeky:

...........................

I will not 'debate' on which is good or which is less stress or which is more stress on the engine as all riders have different mentality and understanding .... :shy:

anyway have some time to read the info below to have some idea what is torque and power ..

ooooopppp ss .... eeerr for info ...

the guide calculation is based on P200 engine not UG4 P180 engine ... yours will be slightly lower on the overall but nevertheless that is the idea lah if you changed your sprocs sizes!! ...

To enhance the bike performance further .. you can change your oil filter, ignition coils, cdi if needs to, spark plug, volt stabiliser, less load (cargo), sufficient tyre air pressure, sand smooth the intake manifold, removed your TEC exhaust system, whack your pipe silencer, SINCE here we can't afford to do Port&Polish, Stroke up and Bore Up the engine parts to increase the Horse Power!!!!! ... and if you want more ..... hmmm CHANGE BIGGER BIKE!!! ..... CHEERS!!

okay. thats really too much info. but i did caught onto something there.

14T 38 Stock

6000 rpm = 81.1km ... 7000 rpm = 94.6km ... 8000rpm = 108.1km

14T 36 Stock

6000rpm = 85.6km ... 7000rpm = 99.8km ... 8000rpm = 114.1km

15T 39 Sinnob

6000rpm = 84.6km ... 7000rpm = 98.7km ... 8000rpm = 112.8km

i know that u will not "debate" hehe. but let me ask some questions. can? =P

seems to be that the "14T 38" one have the most speed at the lowest rpm

does it mean the pick up for the bike will be lousier?

guess the sinnob ones are the most stable between pick up and top speed right?

where can i get these sinnobs sprockets?

am i right to say that the sprockets do not give us

either better pick up or top speed?

just that the ride will be more smooth and comfortable?

Sprockets and gears together determine how power is delivered from the engine to the rear wheel. Since you have been riding for sometime, you should be knowing how gears work; lower gear you feel more pickup and engine rougher and higher gear for the same speed you feel engine dying and more smoother.

Unfortunately, the gears are fixed you cant do anything about it. But you can play with the sprocket ratio such that if you choose the right ratio you can either get better pickup and compromise top speed or get higher speed and compromise pickup.

Basically if you overgear from stock the 1st gear will feel like 2nd gear and 2nd gear will feel like 3rd gear and so on and 5th gear will feel like 6th gear. So you see its like magically you bike has got 6th gear but then you have lost your 1st gear :cheeky:

Similarly you can undergear from the stock such that 5th gear feels like 4th gear, 4th gear like 3rd gear and so on 1st gear becomes really powerfull and you can zoom from the traffic light like a scrambler, but then you have lost your 5th gear so top speed is down.

I hope you got the concept. Try googling about sprocket ratios and how the affect speed at a particular RPM.
