Yeah! I guess, it uses 528 chain hence the large size. 125CC with that heavy chain, they could have just used a 428 chain like Yamaha R15 does and probably gained some more performance

Agreed. But maybe there's a reasoning for the chain & sprocket size..... to counter the over torque.?

Ride slow slow. Getting old already..................

Normally, cornering should be straightforward. Its only when there is emergency while cornering, like you find some object or you need to slowdown and hence brake, all hell can break loose, so better to be safe than sorry, try to be as vertical as possible(and hence need to slowdown) and try to as much to left of the lane as possible, so if someone is in a rush behind you let them overtake.

And cornering I mean the entry into expressways, can't think of any other corners on Singapore roads.

I always try to stay in the center of the lane when cornering, to avoid being overtaken.. I see sometimes those wave who let other cars overtake them, it's really scary.. especially when there's a second lane...

Should I stop doing that ?

Yes, cornering is only exiting , entering highway + those weird bends you sometimes have from a highway to another you know ?

So the weird thing is most of the time they are limited to 50km/h, or there's no limitation. But mostly 50km/h.

So when I ride and the roads are empty (the joy of not being stuck with office hours), it's fine cause I slow down.

But sometimes there's too many cars behind, or no limitation, and everybody cruises through the bend, but Shadow and me slow down to do a nice curve and be comfortable.

I think I really need to practice more. The bend I do the most often, like the exit to go to my place, these I am now ok with, but sometimes I meet new exits and I get surprised..

@avlinyansg ok thanks, I'll register with BBDC. Since I decided not to take my Class 2, I will use the money to do defensive riding then.

Probably thats the lower half of the engine isn't it? More complicated isn't it? Top half including piston I guess is not considered as major overhaul?

You have every right to take it slow and stay in the center, no problems if you are not comfortable with someone overtaking you in your lane. Most people will suggest you the same thing. Mine is a personal preference to stay in the leftmost part of the lane, I just hate to keep worrying if someone behind me is too frustrated with my speed, so I move to the left and everyone is happy :)

Beware of cars going fast.. my gf rode my previous ride n turning into a sharp bend slowLy.. suddenly a car just oversteer and is in the middle of 2 lane n hit her at the side..

@SC Gaban, when was the last time you did an overhaul ? Like how many kms ago ? Maybe it's normal wear, no ?

What do you mean by crankcase, you have to change your crankcase? :faint: cannot be, right ?
