I think of going for outlook.. Wat can be done??

Below are some options....+ big & deep pockets ........

1) Put in inverted forks- Best from Cagiva Mito series 1-5.

2) Single rear gull arm- Honda SP 150 rear end.

3) Single seater + rear cowling set- Kawasaki KR 150 fits nicely with minimum works.

4) Clip on handle bars

5) Enlarged disk brake + Brembo 2 pot caliper ( front)

6) Convert rear drum + Brembo 4 pot caliper ( rear)

7) Up size engine block & pistons to P220 size

8) Mikuni carbs....

9) Fabricate top header & mid pipe whilst using stock end can - Still legal what...

Point no 7 is very interesting. The cylinder piston bore kit for P220 can be sourced from India for cheap.

But the biggest question is will it be a direct fit on the P200 or P180 UG3? How much of performance improvement can be expected and how about the engine heat management.

May '10 - Jun '11 : Bajaj Pulsar 180 DTSi UG2

Jul '11 - Jan '12 : Honda Phantom TA200

Feb '12 - Jul '12 : Bajaj Pulsar 180 DTSi UG3

Aug '12 - Current : Bajaj Pulsar 200 DTSi

1) Theoretically, all can be done. But with much trial & error. Item 7 ,i'm referring to big boring the engine block. Had done so on my Kawasaki ZZR11 but the Wiseco package came with all the necessary kits & pistons required. So by using a bigger bore, then more hp will be generated.

2) The fitment could be an issue. Not too sure whether the fitment will be accurate. Had asked from Ah tek before. not advisable . He said just wait for ns 200 ..... As he never laid his hands on 220 block...

3) For heat management,........... ride faster..............!!!!! Or install oil cooler like some bros from Indo had did. That was kampong engineering all about. .

4) For all the items 1-9 above, estimated cost will be at least around SGD $2750.++..............

5) Given the chance & time & much $$, i 'll give this a shot.

How do you know it's failing or failed ? Is it a change in the performance' date=' in the speed per rpm ?[/quote']

the best example is when i was riding at 7krpm, the bike suddenly totally lost power and stayed at 4-5rpm

(thank god for having the right coil)but it was chugging away horribly...

it was ok the next day but performance since then was a horrendous experience.

anywae i've just swapped the protec coil with the stock and instant improvements when took out for a spin...

need to monitor the performance.

will update.

but guys ask u a question,

i only managed to screw in one side of the coil to the frame bracket but the other just doesnt fit right.

is there supposed to be a bracket for it?

220 block definitely need modification, cause 220 bore & stroke is 67mm & 62.4mm respectively.. It actually has the same bore as the 200 but different stroke of 67mm & 56.4mm.. And for the 180 it's 63.5mm & 56.4mm.. So in other words, it's almost a plug and play for the 200 block and piston on the 180 as it has the same stroke.. As for the 220, it probably share the same piston as the 200 but you will need to change the conrod and god knows what more cause the stroke is longer.. Hope I'm not confusing you all..

dun mind me asking pulsar noob here whats that btw?

boostbottle...it collects 'waste" fuelair from right after its compression stroke starts where the intake valve is still open way before its power stroke and throws it back into the cylinder on its next intake stroke so that the wasted fuelair doesnt go through the needle a second time when fresh fuelair is drawn in..

or so i think?

(edited: shud be a rough idea of wads goin on)

the previous version was for 2 strokers LOL!

Are you using the new route using the senai - desaru highway or the traditional longer route.......?

Only used the old route before, will try the highway to see if worth it and not too boring.

Guys, so far the attendance for the Anniversary BBQ is very poor. If no one is interested should we just cancel it? Cause not worth the trouble if only 4-5 people attend..
