anybody interested in a E-way ride out???will basically cover all E-ways of singapore, which will take slightly over only 1.5hrs max to complete...also a good time for those new to riding to join in for convoy riding with exp riders...

tentative date of event will be 1 sat of May....

stay tune

Cheers!

That's a great idea. I believe the old PKs used to organize such rides.

One possible route you could look at (if setting out from the North)

Start Point: Bottle Tree Village at Yishun (able car park space to gather and brief)

Head up to CTE towards City

Exit TPE travel all the way the Changi

Changi Airport head up T1 departure and round back to ECP (City)

ECP straight down to AYE

Break/Rest stop along East Coast (Macs or Carl's Jr)

AYE onwards to KJE

KJE towards BKE

Exit Lim Chu Kang

Nice long straight road along the runway outside Tengah Air Base

Head towards Changi via Sungei Buloh

Rest stop at Kranji Dam

Alt Route 1 (short):

Kranji Dam towards BKE (CTE)

Exit Mandai Rd towards Yishun Ave 1

Back to Yishun Dam

Alt Route 2 (long):

Kranji Dam towards BKE (PIE)

PIE towards Changi

Exit to TPE (BKE)

TPE straight towards Yishun

Exit Seletar

Break/Rest stop at Jln Kayu

Seletar Camp towards Dam

Get a good back rub after that! :thumb:

OK!

i've basically setup a route thats 99% E-way that basically covers all the expressway of singapore(as in utilising them but not going the full distance of it), the total length of the route is 90km..

Route 1

start point would be in Champions Way off woodlands ave 1, a pit stop will be made along Jalan Ahmad Ibrahim Caltax or Esso Yuanching, and end point at yishun dam.

Brief decription...

1.set out from champions way

2.SLE

3.BKE

4 KJE

5 PIE

6 AYE (Pit Stop along this stretch)

7 CTE

8 PIE

9 KPE

10 ECP

11 TPE

12 Yishun Dam

this route is chosen because, it utilises 2 markers max and also the distance factor for new riders, and more impt, to let them familiarise with convoy riding while under the guidance of exp riders, in a night time environment (speed would be 80-100km/h depending on condition).

Route 2

there's another route which is slightly more technical, as there would be more traffic junctions that could break up the convoy and allow the new riders to also exp how to deal with that kind of situations, when no exp riders are around....

1 Dam

2 Mandai road

3 SLE

4 BKE

5 KJE

6 PIE

7 AYE (Pit Stop along this stretch)

Pls vote according to your fav choice, those voting pls cut and paste this Green part, and add in your vote by changing the value.
