since many threads and info about good things and advantages of bike models..

anything you wanna share about WORST bike you have ever owned or experienced ?

ofcuz different people different perspective... but let's share your WORST bike experience.. :)

here's an example:

I would avoid the PC800, its likely to run forever without much maintence, but you may kill yourself its so boring, hot and uncomfortable.

I'd have to disagree about the 500cc honda V4's, they are quite overbuilt in my experience. I put 30k miles on one and literally didn't touch a thing other than change oil and air filter and spark plugs (all cheap and very easy to do). The larger V4's had issues with camshaft wear, but the 500's go nearly forever as I recal. I know I didn't have any problems.

i've heard stories of Fazer 1k sub-frame crack problems...

yamaha TPS problems.. http://www.singaporebikes.com/forums/showthread.php?t=185001

Beemer immobilizer ?

This bike ar, if you are suay, you may get one with the key ring antenna problem i.e. EWS error. Once you get this error, the whole bike cannot start at all! A friend of mine got this problem 3 times over a span of only 3 months I think. The first time it occured was on the 2nd day after collecting the bike.

ya, skidded twice on my phantom 150 (chassis, weight etc all same as 200, except is kick start and 2 stroke). thing is the tires are very low grip on raining days and the back is very heavy, even worse if you put box so if you brake, apply more of the front because if the back skids, its going to go all the way down :)

Skidded before myself. Riding in the wet was a real nightmare on my Phantom.

Can also consider cbr150r, low maintenance bike. TA200 not a good bike for beginner because of posture and riding technique different from the ones at Riding Center.

oh man.. so it's not that reliable after all huh..

what about kips or nsr then? i heard the piston tends to jam pretty often, even when they use full syn 2T

Daelim VT Evolution is the worst bike I owned! Had to change piston rings TWICE in one year! It's built like sh|t.

It's your damn bike, wash it yourself! You rinse your own mouth after you eat, don't you?

My current FZ1 is one of the worst i have . Replaced parts of it the most , but i still love every bike tat i have owned . I think my fave bike would be the TZM n the F4i .

GIVI Touring windscreen for FZ1 2006 onwards for sale - $90

my first bike was the cbr 150. got into an accident, couldnt ride so sold it. and now i can, guess what? i got another cbr 150.

its low maintenaince, 4 stroke, super good fuel consumption is really practical for sg's roads and rising petrol prices. so far it hasn't given me any problems at all, both my previous and current ones. plus, its newer than the sp which is no longer in production.

so, sorry.. cant really help to tell u what's not recommended to buy. i'm very satisfied with my current one. hehe.. unless only one thing: this is not a speed demon. but at the cbr150 thread here, there are fellow riders that go up to 160km/h. *winks*

i heard the pulsar is another problem free bike. very petrol savvy too.

for the love of the game, and the ride..

An ex-pulsar rider told me it's really petrol savvy BUT the spare parts, cost a bomb. So I think comes to the same. I dunno if it's true but that's what he told me.

LC125 also can hit 160km/h before. *winks*

I do not have problems on my phantom... its actually the greatest bike i had for the past 2 - 3 years. Low maintanience, no need to wash, spare parts cheap until cannot cheap, petrol last very long also, comfortable seats for pillion & rider. It is also the only bike that i did not have any accident with because its just too slow... want to go fast also cannot!!! The best is TP definately will not summon you for speeding lo. wahaha.

i personally believe all the bikes are good. only whether the condition that you get is good o not, thats all and depends on what type of bikes you want, comfort, sporty, offroad etc.

If u r pillioning ur gf, ride carefully... u don wan any harm comes to her.

If you think the bike works against you, it means you are not in control of your bike.

No point talking when you do nothing to improve the situation.

But I would avoid the Daelim Magma 125. It's a bike that asks to be banged from the rear.

My Rides:

LuLu, Piaggio Gilera Runner FXR 180 (Feb05-Aug05)

PhanPhan, Honda Phantom TA 200 (Aug05-July07)
