btw the fold up lever not necessary for big bike onli...

its for ppl tat brakes and at the same time open throttle so tat the lever will give alittle way for ur hand the open throttle... and if ppl went to sepang or PG "touch wood" if they fall inside track.. at least the lever dun clip on to ur finger and lever dun break! still can ride bike home...

Heh yeah, I read through the aftermarket levers thread before. They were taking about Pazzo ones right? I think with that kind of money spent, I can do a complete external makeover for my bike... more worth it.

hello every1... gonna do sum stuff to my bike tis weekend sow hope u guyz can enlighten me and help me out a bit..

 

1) wat are the symptoms of a worn out clutch plate? (sumtimes i kick up second gear, suddenly go dwn to neutral by itself), if tis is 1 of the symptoms, which brand of clutch plates are good in j.b & sg?

 

2)what is the standard chain size for kawa? (using heavy duty gold chain nw and its expanded like nobody's business..) any recommendations for D.I.D X-ring, or any other chains?

 

3)does the HEL steel braided brake hose do any good compared to the standard ones? do they sell it in j.b?

 

4)which is the best brand of brake pads? ( mine dunowat chapalang brand.. noisy sia)

 

5) any reccomendations to change reed valve to carbon fibre ones? wat diff compared to normal?

 

6) lastly, wat are the symptoms of gearbox problems?

1: no.. wat u feel is if u neber kick gear shifter properly.. clutch problem must drag then u know, if going slow and u can feel it means very jialet liao..

 

2: krr original chain size is 520... use back tat size can solve tat problems.. but if neber take care of it.. it will become like tat again..

 

3: HEL steel braided brake hose 1st can tahan more heat 2nd branded, jb dun have..

 

4: try EBC if u r using stock caliper.. the rest of the brand i dunno got make for krr or not..

 

5: try boyesen..

 

6: if ur chain are in well tention, clutch release standed and u still can feel the there's a slow when u engage to the gear...

 

hope tats help.. i thinks other have got something to add on also.....
