ARgh!! Guys i need help. i wud say a very old problem. Ok lets not take my riding style into consideration. my Fuel consumption has dropped frm 250km full tank to now 180 full tank. AFter servicing my carb at a bike shop in tampines.

I believe its the jet setting thats causing this issue ? if i adjust the jet setting the carb tuning can remain rite ? cus i told the mech, he told me currently got power mar so more power more fuel used up.

But now the thing is i dun need a "power" bike, cause the difference in power is like negligible. so i wan my fuel consumption back to 250.

so any help here like where i can tune back and perhaps somebody can point out some issue ? Cus my riding style hasnt changed. tuning of carb by a shop need to pay ??

thanks i would need answers urgently cannot tahan this for too long leh. 180km full tank like scrambler lor and to make things worst, my bike hasnt the "power" lor

the jets are cheap just go buy 1 and change it yourself

as for the info refer to owners manual

i take it that your bike purely stock

ya telling me that bike was left there without ya supervision while it was worked

well the jet needle ? u mean buyin a new set of jets ? What for ? not as if my current 1 cannot be used ? well i was there all the while, they did a gd job for servicing my carb, the only prob is the fuel consumption is way off the desirable mark you see.

When doing the servicing, did the mechanic change the needle to a higher gauge?

i dont tink he knows whether got change the jet size or not

but i think there's no reason why the mechanic would change the jet for nothing leh...

unless...the biker wants the mechanic to give the bike more power...some mechanics think that by changing needle , the bike got power....but they did not think about the xhaust, piston, block need to mod too... Correct me if i'm wrong

actually by changing the needle position onli affect ur moving off part onli :)

try taking it back to where u do ur tuning and tell him ur problem ba... onli they knw wat they do for u and ask them revert for u back ba:)

cause we dunno whether wat they change :)
