i guess every week wash ? i even did the tire wet.. but once only.. difficult to apply on the wheel because the tire wet cannot touch the rubber dat is suppose to be in contact with the road.. sigh.. waste $$$ buy...

new stock bike can get ard 320Km per full tank

works out to ard 30+Km/litre

 

2nd hand ones will vary frm bike to bike

if u are riding SP now then u should understand how mileage can vary across different individual bikes

 

insurance tink cheaper w/ Mitsui than NTUC

Hello. Sounds to me like you had 'Flooded' the motor.

If the motor doesn't start with a few kicks, you can sometimes get too much fuel in the cylinder for the spark plug to ignite. Then you end up kicking and kicking but the motor won't go.

Best thing to do is hold the throttle wide open while you are kicking. What this does is allow more air into the motor to correct the fuel/air balance in the motor. Once the motor fires up, then return the throttle to a normal poistion. You will still get more smoke than normal out the exhaust, but that is just the motor clearing it'self of the extra fuel/oil mix.

look out the engine sound not too loud, handle bar is stright or not and no oil leak on it( mean if u ride it should go stright instead toward left or right.) and the suspension ( the most expansive part liao )(if this 3 in very good performance u can think of buy tat liao) then the normal thing u can see urself ma like tire is botak or not and the maintainance, say wad accident free and the low mileage is bullshit , i can put the cable out then the mileage wun rise liao.

look out other tiny thing lor but sure wun have a 100% nice bike for u la. see more bike then comapre lor dun rush to buy it, if u ride and test if can u try to open throtte v high rev so that u can see the valve is stuck or not...(around 7 to 8k rpm the speed start to increase more)correct me if i wrong

last time i switch to k2(full syn) ..then the mech help me tune 2T pump(for more intake??)

so ifi switch to semi-syn 1 like shell vsx...do i need to retune the 2T pump??

hmmm my bike mileage on full tanks can hit 350km yupp.. 2T using esso 2T gold.. cant comment on the performance because only used dat before.. engine oil use esso 4T gold.. also cant comment on dat becase only used dat before.. intending to change to motul on next oil change and 2T top up !! and see if motul perform better den esso anot.. u guys can try castrol R4/R2 my fren recommended... nv try before thou.. considering to try but not yet...

While you have diagnosed the problem as flooding, your recommended solution was to open your throttle wide??!!! Contradicting aint it?

i used R4 R2 combination b4 ... quite smooth ...but nt much aso

personally feel the Eoil no much diff from brand to brand ...

just use normal 1 can liao

speed meter cable, is a long slive cable like ur tv cable( my 1 la) if u pull it out, the speed meter wun work so the mileage wun work oso wad , if u ride ur bike long enough u can see ur rpm to judge wad is ur speed ur speed
