dun know if anyone here is interested in getting a 1L Pennzoil Platinum Full Synthetic Motor Oil 5W40 at $18,but only come in a group of 4 btls.Dun really know if motor can use 5w40 oil anot..who want to share?

got wear gloves? maybe wear gloves better, dampen the vibration...

never wear gloves... haha... but i wear touring jacket... damn hot... not used to wearing of glove and ride...

Just my my bike kena bang by my Boss's lorry during work... he say my bike too small then cannot see then he forget abt it... side stand bent... "Saitao" crack... windshield crack too... and clutch level almost break... bike still ok... then have to rush to famous "LAB" to buy all the above and fixed... going to get a new saitao and respray when free...

 

lesson to be learn... dun park near cars... when they move off sometimes they forget to check and there goes ur bike... lucky my boss is the one who bang it... if other ppl did it, i've to pay all the things myself... haha...

A. How powerful u 1? it is still only a 2b bike, but in it's class it is very 'powerful'(good) bike

 

2. full tank how many litres?

A. 11.5L

 

3. 1 litre can travel how far bro?

A. Last time my KRR can go abt 300+km b4 reserve. U do the math for 1L.

 

4. How is the fuel consumption of this bike?

A. ans for question 3 shd ans this 1. But mine was complelely stock, if mod here and there FC will of coz go up.

 

5. How is the maint. of this bike?

A. Same as every bike, change EO and spark plug when it's time to change, and the other things like chain manitence top up 2t etc. But the belly will rust for some KRR, mine din have this problem, guess is heng/suay.

 

6. Is that true the parts r expensive?

A. I did servicing at JB sparts are readily available, but get some1 who is familiar wif the shop b4 u take out yr wallet.

 

7. Is that true that the waiting for the spare parts takes a longer period especially overhaul problems?

A. See Q6

 

8. How to take care of the coolent?

A. Change every 2 yrs as recommend by the manual. I last time changed to maxima cool-aide, can feel alot of difference esp at JB jams.

 

 

9. which one is better compare to NSR 150?

A. U ask pple who ride KRR of coz they will say KRR u ask SP rider they will say SP rite? I think KRR better coz it is much newer if u get those FX plate or so.

 

10. How many gear shifting for this bike?

A. 6 gears.

 

11. Wat is the best recommended 2t oil?

A. Depends on the individual, if u use for transport only any semi syn 2t can le. If u go jb and whack, try motul 600 or maxima K2. i personally prefer maxima's K2.

 

12. Wat is the best engine oil?

A. KRR is a 2 stroke bike therefore it is better to use gear oil. Again there are gear oil from maxima and motul.

 

13. Wat is the running-in timing for new krr?

A. i run in for abt 1800km, some ppl run in at abt 800km, depends on indiviual again, i last time abit kiasu...
