Nah, think it's just the nature of the Internet and the "spamsters" that roam it.

Try to expose yourself less to the internet "world" by not revealing too much about your online identity (ie don't disclose e-mails openly on pages, only sign up for stuff or join groups that you absolutely feel is important to you, etc.)

"Leave a small footprint about yourself" -- that's the word that I like to use and am trying to remember when I go online. :)

As for your Grand Theft Auto install, are you installing via a CD-ROM?

If it's not a CD-ROM but an installer on your hard drive that you are trying to run, have you tried running it "as Administrator?"

Err...it's still in the Control Panel all along.... :confused:

Start Menu

--> Control Panel

--> Regional and Language Options

--> "Keyboards and Languages" (tab)

Click the [Change keyboards...] button.

When the Text Services and Input Languages dialog box comes up, click on the [Add...] button.

Another dialog box should come up with a whole list of languages, including the various Chinese input languages that you can pick from.

Let me know if you don't see em.

P.S.: This applies to the ability to insert Chinese characters, not to change the user interface language. (ie. Menus, taskbars, dialog boxes)

If you see a message appear at the bottom right side of your screen as you plug in your thumbdrive that goes something like "USB device not recognized", chances are the circuitry in the thumbdrive has malfunctioned (entire thumbdrive spoilt). That is, even if you're sure it's plugged in and seated nicely into the USB port of the computer.

If you don't see that, but you do see that Windows has assigned your thumbdrive a drive letter under "My Computer"...for instance, drive [G:] etc, try to access it. Are you able to go in or do you see an error?

I only know the booting part :p

As long as you have a BIOS or EFI (read: newer computer) that supports USB booting off of a hard drive.

Operating-system-wise: I'm not so sure. But it's most probable that you have to install the operating system of your choice first -- doing this while it's plugged inside your computer via SATA or PATA/IDE, or if you have VMware to perform this neat trick.

Like choosing a bike, the first question you will need to ask yourself is, what do I plan to use my next computer for? Net surfing? Work? Games?

From the specifications listed above, this is a PC with moderate performance, more than enough for daily tasks, and enough to be used for slightly powerful games.

Did I mention that at $1500, it's cheaper than other Core 2 quad PCs out there too?
