carb is still more reliable than injection for small bike. i rode fz150i before and the fuel pump spoilt when the bike is abt 1yrs old..... thou fc is better for injection but carb is still easier to tune and more forgiving.

 

Touch n Go> fz150i fuel pump spoilt due to wear and tear?

how much does it cost to replace it?

talked to one lady, she informed that they r not bringing in fz16 o_O

so this beauty will not step into our shore? :(

hong leong not bringing in doesn't mean it won't be available here. thru parallel import is possible. just like the new honda tiger tat i've seen a few on the road

seems like u're quite determined to own a fz16.

 

maybe u can enquire bike production, wing yap, universal... jus to name a few.

 

its a supply-and-demand market out there. when there's demand, i don't see why they will let opportunity pass

how much does it cost to replace it?

 

hi bro. well the 1st few batches of fz150i have fuel pump problem from the factory. not due to wear and tear as how can fuel pump spoil in juz a year.

nt sure wheter HL got warranty for the spoilt fuel pump not but the latest Fz150 had improved pump. i was quoted $300++ for the pump :sian:

wth... last time someone asked they said fazer 150 and the fz16 they already doing testing and should be launching soon if everything's according to plan now no more???? &*@^!@&%#

 

too much red tape and trouble to own a parallel imported bike especially just 2b IMO... Zzz guess not more "touring" 2Bs in the near future >.

sillypore pushing for euro4 co2 emission std in 2010.

only new bikes with efi (electronic fuel injection) qualify euro3 co2 emission std.

all carburetor bikes can't meet the euro3 emission std, most/all carb bikes only measure up to euro2 std.

u can say goodbye to 2-strokers bikes, it doesn't measure up to euro1 std.

Yamaha FZ-16 will be launch at Indonesia around November 2009 with codename: YAMAHA BYSON.....in Thailand they will also launch with codename: YAMAHA BULL....:cheers:

 

It will be just a matter of time to enjoy the bike here....:D
