I would not recommend Taichi gloves. Had one their gloves before. Even though the leather is soft but due to my sweaty palms, the glove's palm leather had a hole after 6 months of use.

my almost 2 yr old RS Taichi Drymaster starting to leak in the groin & chest area.. anything to recommend better than the drymaster? Anyone has used the rainbuster for more than 2 yrs? How is it getting along?

Swiftee, ur rain buster only started to leak after 4 yrs? did u take extra precation & treat it nicely or just normal?

lol i dont log in all the time.

i abuse my rainbuster. crumple up and stuff in bike box. place box under the hot sun. squash it with laptop.

bring it touring, bring it through monsoon.

wash in washing machine (in laundry bag)

so i dunno why it lasts so long lor...

recently changed to drymaster cuz MW no longer selling rainbuster.

the rainbuster jacket is still serviceable (just damn ugly cause the graphic all came off), just that the pants leak at groin area.

Same here. Bought at 135 too. Tried in heavy rain. No leak yet.. It is good if it can last a year or more given the price.

sure can last a yr.. but i want something that last for 2-3 yrs at least.. cos its not that it rains everyday... I got wet again today.. especially the crotch!

Swiftee, is the rainbuster a higher model? since u said MW no longer selling, where else can get ah?

Btw,is there any price different between 035,036 and 037?

Yes...

035 and 036 is the drymaster x series...

which is even more compact than the drymaster series...

the drymaster x series cost $230

drymaster cost $150

both price before discount...

bought the thicker drymaster x (RSR036) last week. only tried once in light rain. Overall feels more comfy than my previous drymaster (RSR037). The X keeps better warmth also but not sure if its gonna be stuffy in those "after rain sunshine".

Almost bought the lighter drymaster x (RSR035) but took the thicker one cos I assumed it works better. Anyone tried to compare the 2 different drymaster X?

A little sidetrack into other product range.

I like to ask if any bro/sis here got recommendation on the riding jackets that tachi is offering in singapore. Looking at something that is light enough, got reflective sticker on it (possible to have like front and back) and ranging say 200 and below. Keen on getting on for touring riding :)
