Probably SAF raincoats are not cut to be "slim fit" so it will catch the wind and flap more.

I was actually referring to the waterproofness comparison... haha. Any idea?

Went to MW today to look for a rain coat as my 2yr old OGK rain coat is leaking quite badly.

Wanted to get the rain buster but the sales gal says no more stock and suggest the drymaster, the price tag was $160. In the end, bought the RS Taichi Tarmac Air Jacket, $126 (Armour Mesh jacket) plus a RS Taichi inner waterproof $49, total $174. Pretty good deal.

Will get the $15 rain pants from knox dealer next week.

Airflow is quite good on the move, can feel the breeze going through my whole body. This is my first time using a mesh jacket not sure how it compare to other. Have not tried wearing it in the hot afternoon sun, but overall its much cooler than my OGK raincoat. Design is simple as I do not like very loud design.

The waterproof inner liner is very thin and can fold until very small and put under the seat, haven tested how well its against the rain yet will post an update when I tried it in the rain. Couldn't find a picture of it from the internet.

You change to a slipper when it rains while riding a bike?

It's either you have never had road rash or you think you're wearing 'pure leather' with rubber soles.

Why would you exchange the discomfort of a wet shoe when the risk get's higher on wet road?

How much is a bloody pair of shoes/boots compared to the risk of one day into A&E, crushed bones, and months of pain.

I helped a nurse pick out grit and gravel from a motorcyclist's legs and arms before. Big burly man, shredded jeans, wrecked harley hog, screaming like a sow being slaughtered.

we used long nose pliers to pull out grit and gravel piece by piece. leaving ones that are too small need to be scrubbed out with a brush.

he was very big, very strong, very strong voice too. people can hear his screams outside the hospital.

wear your slippers in the rain again, bro. so clever, so gung-ho.

Why rush? It's the journey, not the destination ... :shades:

Ah!! That's a little bit better. - covered toes. Safety shoes are great. protects when our feet gets pinned.

Your'e right about the yucky feeling of wet shoes all day.

I keep shoes in the workplace for that very reason.

Better our feet be covered with a strong pair of shoes. But then again, different people have different levels of what costs and what's risk.

All the best & keep the rubber side down!
