well in the haynes manual for the nc35, its stated theres only R and T models.

nc35 - 1994/1995 - r - frame no: nc35-1000001

nc35 - 1996-on - t - frame no: nc35-1100001

im truthfully not sure...could it be the logcard stated wrongly? (i seen cases of it happening) or is there REALLY a rs model?

its not that big a deal, considering the r and t models are basically almost identical, but its just that.. :(

*whoops, typo

Err...yah. I have the book on hand as well as read various sources as well.

There might be just 2 RVF variants only; the RR and RT. Difference obviously would be the paintwork between the two -- that's all I know and that's what I saw on the various bike picture websites and sites dedicated to the RVF.

On the inside, the registration.

The trailing "S" denotes that the bike was built for Sillypore customers, I think...heheh

It was from my log card that states RS model. Probably if you really do need that specific level of visibility, you can check with LTA why is it registered as an RS. As far as I'm concerned, I just type as per what my log card says.

RR, RS or RT, basically all RVF are the almost the same less the part numbers. So it doesn't matter at all.

Cheers

guy i am getting my rvf this coming week, any idea wat to look out for wear & tear part.

Soft shocks, warped discs, misalignments, crap wirings, funny knocking sound from engine...

These common 5 are critical to your future pocket depth... especially the last one which I have seen and heard from 2 RVFs already - conrods/crankshaft is screwed!!! But chances of getting the last one is very small compared with the other 4

Hope it helps

aiyah. what specific level of visibility? i see this as a discussion leh i think many have mentioned about the 'rs' model before huh? i believe that lta knows crap about this. so theres no point asking them dont you agree? im hoping someone who really knows can enlighten all of us here. as i said, i know the rr/rt models are almost identical, but... as i said, im just curious.

its better to ask, than to follow blindly, dont you think so? :p

From what i know RVF NC35 only comes in RR or RT Model although my log card states as RS Model too maybe the S = Sinapore, RS = Registered Singapore :p

Somewhere along the way on the journey of Grey Imports in SIngapore become Special :p But whatever RR/RT/RS Still same mah :p RR is the paint scheme different but RT & RS I think is the Same bah !!!! :cheeky:

hey ppls i jus wanna to ask wat is the advantage and disadvantage differeent for getting bike from a bike shop and getting a bike for a privite seller

There is someone out there for me

I know there is someone out there

I know she is waiting so patiently yeah

Can you tell me her name?

(Somebody tell me her name)

This life-long search is gonna drive me insane

How does she laugh?

How does she cry?

What's the color of her eyes?

Does she even realize I'm here?

Where is she? Where is she? Where is she?

Where is this beautiful girl?Who is she? Who is she?

Who is gonna complete my world?

My view is that its more of a money issue. Whether you got the full cash which private seller would be asking for. Buying from private seller would be usually cheaper cos shops would jack up the price for profiting the sales. Then again, to COI from private seller is a risky thing. For those who do know what I mean
