Ride slow is a must

 

Regular servicing is idiot proof. Oiling of Chain once every 1-2weeks. Tires pressure monitor at 33 front 34-36 rear. Deep tires thread is a must. Nothing much actually.

When getting out the bike, take of some stuffs:

 

1) Make sure the chain is a good one. At least a O ring

2) front and rear spocket teeth are sharp

3) ERP working condition

4) Engine and exhuast no funny sound, smooth even throttle high

5) Coolant water as much as possible

6) Brakes are important

7) Tires thread

8) Key hole smooth enough to open fuel cap, rear seat and inginition

9) All switches working properly namely: signal, high beam, horn, passing, iginition and off/on

 

*All these things you ask for FOC from the shop if buying from dealer. Just make noise and complain

 

Btw, sidetrack abit. This morning, a wave/cub brang along Dover rd and clementi junction. I hope the kid is all right. He complaining left arm pain and I suspect its a dislocation at shoulder. Ride safely rider, raining and please do avoid the white marking in the road. I was late for work while attending to him.

when i bot my RVF..theres no IU unit, hollow pipe, fuel cap not smooth..

den aft few mths slowly change n repair lor..

hmm..anyway hope the cub zai guy is fine..

Thats True Sprocket teeth sharp = gone liao : )

Add pls do check your throttle by opening the throttle motion and make sure the throttle snaps back right away

and press your brake lever make sure its not too hard to pull in. If not pls do try to change new throttle cable and brake cable, its not cheap to change that on your own too

I was jus wondering, if my front brake lever feels like there's too much friction (eg) squeezing it in gives a jerky feeling, what do you suppose the problem might be?

anyone encounter IU unit cant work or weak or no batt????

wad happened to ur IU? i encountered, put in cashcard, no display of amt. went thru erp, got letter to go check my IU. in the end, the wiring sot. no fine wadsoeva. only gotta pay changing of wire for IU.

my another fren who was riding pgm at that time was infront of me. he told me the road like got oil spill. but dry up liao

 

i nv corner or was i at fast spped at that time. i think oni 30km nia lo. jitao skid lo. my bike was like skid 2 meter away.
