even both honda satellite bikes are different. compare the 2 bikes between alex de angelis and nakano from the same team.

repsol honda team are using 08 rc212.

satelite teams are using the improved 07 honda which pedrosa and hayden were using late last season. since honda had spent alot on new upgrades, satelite teams ran on 07 improved spec rc212. the 07 honda was called "junk" by haydens team manager and mentioned doviziozo is a very good rider able to ride it, and able to keep up with the pack.

nakano was using improved 07 honda this season. midway, he was given a factory prototype 09, to assist with development. reason is that he can communicate better with factory in japan.

respol team started with pedrosa on 08 rc 212 and hayden on 07 rc212. few races later hayden got the 08. both were running on spring valve heads. till, pedrosas rejection to use the pneumatic valve heads, and hayden wanting to use them, hayden was given the pneumatic heads, mid this season. pedrosa switched to pneumatic heads, after returning from injury, which were the last few races for this yr.

its a real pity not to have nakano in motogp next season.... nevertheless, I'm looking forward to see lorenzo, dovizioso and takahashi stealing the limelight next season.

yup.. from wat i read.. nakano received a factory spec machine halfway tru the season and was riding at quite a competitive pace..

i hope nakano will be back next season.. there is stil hope tat kawasaki will field a 3rd factory bike..

during motogp at sepang, they had already announced that the plan for the 3rd kawa bike will be scraped for 2009. so next season, there will be no nakano, west and guintoli.
