Hi folks, I am intending to get a S4 Vtec1 soon. I am 27 this year August. I passed my 2A in Oct 2007. No accident before. Any suggestions for me? I am currently riding a 2B bike too and is under Anda insurance. If let say I were to continue to get Anda for my upcoming S4, will I in any way get any benefits from it?

 

*A SIDE QUESTION: How do I know wether this particular bike is already fully paid or still under COI when I buy a used bike (ie super 4) from another party?

 

It depends weather ANDA accepts S4,what i heard some insurance companies dont take S4 becos many lost at Malaysia... S4 are hot item..lol.

 

Im using AIG..thou.

 

U buy ur bike frm private seller? obviously if he doesnt tell u anything bout installment means fully paid lor.

Thanks much, brother for the reply! I asked for premium quotations from a couple of insurance companies (AIG, NTUC, ANDA) The lowest so far is AIG. Now my consideration is that cos I am still riding my current 2B bike which is under ANDA, will it be better if i continue with ANDA for my new bike (S4) so that I can gain from the NCB thing. This is what the ANDA stuff told me just now.

no la the NCD can be transfer from insurance company de leh....rg. u have 20 % ncd with ANDA den u wan to buy new bike with other insurance...juz tell them ur old bike no and they will be able to transfer de

just give the different insurance companies a call. there are several factors that determine your insurance cost.

Rat bike - A motorcycle not necessarily kept in pristine condition, often painted matt black. Minimal maintenance and mismatched parts often used.

Btw shouldnt your bike shop (which you bought the bike from) be looking into the best priced insurance for you? Im not sure about which insurance company provide the best customer service but yearly when my insurance is due.. i just go down to my bike shop and ask them which is the cheapest insurance i can get.. and they'll call to find out and i'll simply grab the cheapest... abt 520 for me this year.. no prob wif NCD transfer when you switch insurance companies too..

lol ya lo i think too many ppl asked dad and uncle buy for them,then insurance companies not earning HAHA, under insurances' name all uncles age but all young handsome and pretty riders riding on the road LOL

 

whahaha.. i think thats why now cannot. Its all about S11 in reality.

Last year my insurance for my FT plate spec1 s4 was $380, 3rd party insurance.

 

Then I bought a FW wave and insurance cost $350. WTF @ NTUC?

 

This aug my insurance for s4 dies again, am switching over from NTUC to somewhere else. :sian:

today went down to axa..they quote me $775 for insurance with fire and theft..im 24y o with more than 2 y exp..chialat..price same with RVF already..anyone went to ntuc or mitsui recently for the price?

they categorized you the age group hor is count by your birth year or birthday? like this year u 21 but haven bdae pass?

Used to ride a Spec 1.

2005-2010.

When I first got that bike I was 23 years old.

First name my dad, me as second name.

Go through an insurance agent at Eunos Industrial Park.

Got my insurance at only $160! How about that? Yeeeeha...

I think mine was the old policy. New policy, they calculate premium based on younger rider.

Anyway, don't think about it so much...enjoy riding Super 4. It's a great bike.
