Hi guys. Im the lucky user of cb400sf spec I from Poland. In EU this bike is very exotic. In Poland ther are only 2 Cb400sf :D

Now question. Could you kindly tell me is there any body parts such as tail or tank that fits from other Honda bikes? Just wondering cause other Honda bikes such as cb500, cb1300 are available in PL.

Hi Guys,

I have a superfour spec II. Am planning to service and get the following;

a) change brake pads (front & rear)

b) spark plugs - either NGK or Denso

c) flush radiator & add Engine Ice

d) OWS 210, 220 & 360

e) K&N Air Filter

Can anyone advise me on the price or have any suggestions? Thank you.

whats the cost to overhaul or even fully rebuild a version s. looking at the market and some are expiring in less than one year?

There is no such things as a "fixed price" for a bike overhaul job. Labor is intensive and so are spare parts acquisition which account for search and travelling time and such. Labor cost may be fixed at a few hundred to thousand in dollars but the again..if only dismantling and assembling is smooth sailing. Parts replacement prices varies..the harder to find parts would surely cost more. The other thing is that you would never know how much it's gonna cost in actual for a bike to be done because the uncertainty of what is damage or need to be replace parts are not seen till the bike is open up from engine to crank case.

So if you sum all the above..most mototiam would guess their prices..easily around $1.5k to $3.5K for a Super4 Ver S...the more torok the bike..more expensive (buyt not necessary) from sound to outlook base on external assessment only.

Nothing last forever but if u want to keep your bike for a few years more..there are better ways of course without spending so much.

PM me if you need any further advise.

Nothing to do with ignition..if there is, ur bike can't even start to crank and nothing to do with IU (it's always connected direct and has its own fuse). Ok..what fuse did you checked?

Hi all wondering if anyone can help me...

Spec 3, 11 year old bike. Put in key, turn key to right, got headlight and every signal works (including high beam, hazard light) iu also works. Once i press the e-start button, no headlight, no sound. No cranking at all. Hold the e-start button also same thing.

Release e-start, all the lights work again. Sometimes if I wait a while keep pressing e-start, will crank and if I lucky it starts. Tonight... Not so lucky, try half an hour cannot start. No way for bike to start. Any solutions experts?

Thanks alexbong...

I just changed my battery in 5 months ago... could it be another problem that led to the battery not charging?

Still, prefer u to check with multimeter 1st. see the reading save the guess work. try spray some WD40 into ur right control switches like engine cut-off switch, hazard light switch, then play on off those switches a bit.

Check the starter metor carbon if can. try use something lightly knock-knock it a bit the starter motor.

if ur bike still no charge the battery u might want to find mechanic check the alternator.

good luck!!

Well mechanic changed my rectifier... so far so good. Will update again if any more problems. Voltage still around 12V so I guess that means battery is still healthy.

hi guys,

Manage to remove the clip and the 2 small tubes, left one big one which i have no idea to remove. Any help please?

Just squeeze the two end of the green plastic to level the front catch while holding and pulling off the black fuel rubber hose. May have to twist and turn a bit to align..not easy but after many practice..u get the hang of it. There will be some fuel leakage once the tube comes off..so don't panick. Putting back is same..have to align the green plastic with the rubber hose head and push to snap it in..hear a click. If it doesn't seat in right, when u start the bike..the rubber fuel hose will shoot out and fuel will spill endlessly..just switch off to stop it. Good luck.

IMG_5130.jpg You mean just squeeze the green thingy and pull back?

The green thing is like a locking clip latch. Squeeze both ends so it straighten and level up with the rubber hose head connector..then pull the black connector.
