Hi guys, hope to share yr expertise with my recurring problem.

 

my bike could crank start normally with pretty constant idling. While stationery, it would just killed off randomly meaning, the rpm suddenly drop to zero. However, as i am riding, the engine would just died off and restart automatically.

 

few things that are alrdy checked: battery voltage constant at 14.2 without headlight, engine on/off switch and side stand sensor, earth wire, spark plug cable. All working properly. Anyone has this problem or expertise to share?

when bike is stationery, engine killed off therefore both speedo and RPM zero. On the move, engine killed off, rpm and speedo depends on the speed travelling. Auto restart cause the on te move once clutch is release.

 

hmm..it is something that is occur and back to norm in split secs.

Emm, not really know the problem with ur bike, i experience something like that..

 

Normal riding bike suddenly jerking like no petrol enter, cant open vtec and speedometer becomes haywire... Replaced the speedo sensor then all Ok.

 

Mech say the speedo sensor spoil therefore the speed haywire when wana open vtec speedo go zero, powercut kicks in, that explains like bike kena restricted and jerking.

 

Hope u solve ur prob soon. Quite dangerous if it happens again.

Hi all~

Im looking for a efficient/reliable/speedy workshop for Carb tunning or "Experts" in S4 Vtec. Preferably in the Northern area so that It wont be troublesome to travel there from home.

Any recommendations?

maybe can check fuel cork or fuel black hose or plug coil???

Cos i think i sort of cross thread the drain plug for the oil sump...

 

is there any other solution to it?cos i turn the drain plug like ver loose so i dn dare to turn more...only abit of tension i stop already...

Use rubber thread sleeving..did a few bikes liao so far ok. Gte those 3m insulation rubber.

No..not those. Those are for plumbing use. Under hi-heat and pressure..someday eo can sip out. There use to be one electrical shop selling electrical tools and equipment on the 3rd floor in front when you go up the escalator in Sim Lim has it. Its in a small reel less that 2 meter I think and about 1/2 inches wide only..cost about $35..now I don't kno. These tape is like latex and it does not have glue on it. It grip each other surface by static and strecthing.:sian:

If you have to get a replacement..try "KIm Keat" at 5 floor AutoPoint..three or so mototiam away from Seng Kwang. They use to have second hand one well clean and resprayed. The last time I asked was about $110.

Hi guys hope somebody could be advice on this:

 

went to bike shop today to change my fork tube as there was scratches at the oil seal area. cost me 195 for the tube plus 90 bucks for the servicing of both forks. Apparently the replacement tube looks kinda different from the original not as shine and chromed. After the repair my bike still have the same poor handling problem. Issit because of my fork different or there's some other problem? cone bearing was replaced 2 months back. And there this squeeking sound when i push the bike front and back and my hand brake feels so hard press abit only my bike brake so hard. PLs advice
