Hi bro, no endcan is "the best"... Its what u prefer.. Diff endcans diff sound.. Even same brand endcans also produce diff sounds.. Some prefer designs, some prefer soundwise some prefer unique(the rare)....

It does improves abit of performance on the bike.. No matter what endcan. Hope u will make the right decision :)

hey guys

i bought a second hand pipe.

wad i need to do ar?

i got the cert but do i need to do anything?

like example change name? go for inspection?

thank you in advance!!!!

Bro,

u need to go for inspection and do admin paper work to change your name in the new cert. so its in your name legally( black n white words).

and if its just an endcan u bought ,i suggest u go buy a special bolt screw (Cost abt $70 a pair at unqine shop) for your pipe, even though my mech say its easy for him to open, but for normal ppl at least it take awhile..i learn frm experience,my pipe got stolen once.

hope it help :)

Not doing this as side line or freelance and most ppl think lah..just that if I can be of help with things I experienced myself..I just shared..yah, to the extend of looking up the bike. However, this is possible only if I have the time of the day to do so.

In your case..yah, you might wanna check the two wire connector next to your clutch lever frontal part (no DIY required as u can see that its just two connector)..just make sure they it in properly. Can sometime be accidentally come off due to meddling around that area.

Your case may be an actual fault. It all has to do with "safety" as with regards to engine off when in gear components. There are cases when one put in netural..the engine dies and it's caused by a neutral switch sensor inside under the engine (engine oil have to come off to get the sensor sitch replaced) area. Your case may be another switch or sensor that supposing detect side stand down and in relation with clutching in circuitory. In this case, could be a faulty switch (sidestand not triggering it), the sensor to circuitry for engine cut off or just a back wiring connection due to rainy wetness road grind and dirt.

I don't do the rectification but somewhat help in 'fault finding' and solution suggestion for possiblities so that u won't kenna chop chop with things that is not necessary to replaced. For this, you can go find Ah Fook at Industrial Park 2 to have a second opinion (free lah..just say I send u) or any other trust worthy mototiam of yours.

Do keep the rest update here of your rectification so that we can all learn here.:sian:

Thanks to ah pek 'n' all e bros for e advise.

once i rectify my prob, i keep u all updated.

its rainy again..ride safe, be safe!!!

take care!!!

Hi guys hope somebody could be advice on this:

went to bike shop today to change my fork tube as there was scratches at the oil seal area. cost me 195 for the tube plus 90 bucks for the servicing of both forks. Apparently the replacement tube looks kinda different from the original not as shine and chromed. After the repair my bike still have the same poor handling problem. Issit because of my fork different or there's some other problem? cone bearing was replaced 2 months back. And there this squeeking sound when i push the bike front and back and my hand brake feels so hard press abit only my bike brake so hard. PLs advice

anyone?....

anyone?....

Normally handling are affected by fork alignment in whole or partial. Its hard to say in your case as one of your upper section is newer. The hardness..quick rebound and may be the mech put higher grade "W" fork oil or more in quantity (normally 400cc..but 450cc is recommended and optional up to 500cc (for PB1) is ok as long there is room for "damping".

May be you should go back to the shop and request them to check on the fork alignment...a fork press job may be require if previous owner had a bad fall or something.

As for squeaking..sound should go away..may be the new tube and fork seal is not 'seasoned' yet. It can also be your brake hoses or speedo cable rubbing the mud-guard or spring guide area...spray some WD40 or check if anything is touching and rubbing each other. Good luck.:sian:

I don't think so unless you make your high beam as a low beam filament and leave the headlamp switch on at high beam position.

Why not take out the two philip screws that whole the assembly together and give a good spray of WD40..could be bad contact (can try bending the cotact strip) or shorted by harden grits...if you find a wire broken..try fixing it.

Just a thought.
