I would recommend you to go to a shop and diagnose the problem before you keep on changing things that aint faulty... waste $$ bro...

Anyway how much you bought the rectifier I might get one as spare... Heard s4 always spoil... Not sure abt vtec version but version s seems to be a common prob...

Most likely is ur engine oil seak wear off, causing the eo to leak. Common prob for vtec 1. Just change the oil seal during ur next eo change. It costs less than 20 bucks.

I had this too.. Mostlikely is ur gera shaft bearing.. Costs less then 20 to fix it.. I didnt change mine but it kinda stopped leakig

can i check with spec3 rider. at gear 6, on 4K rpm what speed is your speedo showing?i need to know for 4,6,7rpm on gear6.Thanks!!

spec3 gear 6

rpm4- around 65km/h

rpm5- 80km/h

rpm6- around 95

rpm7- 110 open vtec

[Q] Riding spec3, some time when i'm on express way(happen only when constant speed) suddenly my speedo meter drop to 0km/h but my rpm still working normally.. when i open throttle till 7+rpm my vtec nv open, but will increase speed(still showing 0km/h).. den all of a sudden my vtec open and speedo back to normal..

could this be jus a normal loosen connection? or other bigger problem?

the leaking is not from the engine oil drainage nut.... thanks bro.....

changed mine for vtec1 on 2007, motoworld can, 100plus..forgotten the exact value... tt time need to order the part..so mayb u can give them acall

think is from the front sprocket area. should be eo seal.
