hi bros...i just got a LV slip on installed on the 12 of sept..n i have not go for inspection yet? isit ok if i go for inspection end of the month? coz now no $$..how uh??? n can i go any vicom or jtc inspection centres??? coz i residing at cck..can go the bb vicom rite?

if you have no lta cert to certify that your pipe is street legal, the rov/ tp will fine you accordingly if they stop you. go get $52.50 (gst not included) and send it for inspection. you can afford a lv endcan but you don't have money for inspection?

thats like 18k in excess for an 09...

 

i paid like 14k in excess for my 09, totally stock. (3 yrs)

 

so u can work out that whether the "free scorpion full sys, hel, motovation slider and the 2 years more interest" is worth the additional 4k.

 

for me i wont buy it. =)

no need to go through bike shop, u need the exhaust cert (which states that it is street legal, complies with euro law, has the exhaust's serial number printed on it and blah blah blah), your license and that inspection fee. that is all. go down to sta/ vicom/ whatever inspection centre oh and make sure you keep the silencer on before going for inspection.

by right, you are supposed to tow the vehicle there on a lorry and unload it for inspection but come on, how many of us do that? i swopped out my street legal exhaust twice at the shop and went straight down to the inspection centre immediately. kerna stop most probably can negotiate because you are indeed heading down for inspection with the documents.

 

if you choose to fix it like today and go another day but got stopped, then you better know how to talk yourself out of it or else too bad lor.

if ur st-legal pipe is not yet inspected.. n u happen to be stopped over by tp/rov n u can`t produce ur cert.. ur bike is deemed to be usin an illegal pipe.. fine will also be da same as usin race pipes.. whether its 500 or 700.. i`m not sure.. lolx..! =)
