Hi guys, got a question to ask..

Is there any fuel gauge indicator or any way i can tell how much fuel is left if I were to change to a safari tank? I'm thinking of changing to a solid colour instead of the transparent white so I will be unable to see how much if left.

if you use back the OEM pet c0ck, it'll works the same..

use "ON" till you switch to "RES"..

but not sure how much does the reserve had for Safari tanks..

FOr OEM, it's 3L.. cuz i'll pump my tank once i hit reserve, i'll pumped abt 7L every time.. on specs, DRZ tank is 10L..

10L - 7L = 3L.. with my FC, i can travel abt another 75km more when i hit reserve..

the same method can be used for Safari tanks.. but i heard that Safari tanks cant be depleted and petrol will be left in the tank because of the layout of the tank..

To me, steel braided hose is good enough, Whatever gimmicks written on the brochure is just to sell its item better. HEL and Venhill are just household brand name, go with the most affordable one. I have used Hel and venhill for various bikes, both helps me to brake in time with good pads, rotor and master cylinder. Its really the whole package.

At least I know that steel braided can last me for years but rubber hose will give me problem after a good "suntan" for less than 2 years, if you know what i mean.

i've used many different brands before.. try Goodridge.. they can be bought from BT21.. their banjos and washers are stainless steel..

more pretty and expensive one is the one MW selling.. i cant rem the brand and cost..

Plot.

Uses the Permaswage technology for crimping the banjos to the steel braided hoses as per the hydraulic lines of the F16 aircraft.

By the way... permaswage joints meet the Mil specs requirement of proof test pressures up to 6000 psi. Food for thought.

so many profound words.. i shall yahoo/google and understand..

seems like besides Goodridge, Plot is another brand of SS brakehose to consider..

Hi any handlebars to recommend?.. thanks

Get Renthal ones.. more popular one is Twinwall.. I only trust Renthal as i've personally tested them during one of my lowslide experience..

kill you for what? the goodridge lines are waay cheaper and i'm not a track junkie so anything better than the rubber lines is good enough imho. i used plot swage lines before anyway :D

oh and you owe me makan, i want pan fried foie gras :hungry:

Any brand of steel braided line is better than the OEM's spongy lines and it can mean the difference between hitting the car in front or stopping in time.
