For me I get my DRZ 08 at 11000, plus coe, insurance, rd tax should be 13000 there. Get free change of tail light, signal light, steel braided hose, 3 choices of exhaust leovince, scorpion and GPR. I get 08 coz don't see the point getting 09. Not much difference except decal. And extra cost to get 09 because of the shipping in of the bike. Still new so cost little bit more. Bro's correct me if I'm wrong.. HE hE he.. But pipe not taken yet coz still running in. Any comment which pipe should I take? Leovince, scorpion or GPR?

Hi guys.. I just bought me a secondhand DRZ SM and it needs some work on it..

Firtsly I wanna get a bigger airbox mod then I need to send it for tuning (any shop using a Dyno to tune??) cos it has a full system leo exhaust n theres way too much backfire.. I need to change the rear tyre, service the brakes and get better brakeline hoses...

Im a DRZ noob.. so any good shop recommendations which can do all the above that I need would be much appreciated.. If anyone wants to give me any kinda tips, its most welcomed :)

thanks..

Great news! You can do the tank in Singapore now!

It would set you back roughly ard $400, will try to ask for a promo price for Supermoto.SG members..

They require half deposit to start work, your bike don't need to be left at the workshop at all..

Its a swap plus top up deal. Pics are below (before primer and spraying)

The seat will be flushed to the top of the tank like what you see above in the black tank, no shoddy jobs, leakages, proper mountings on the tank.

The shrouds will be flushed with the tank and not protruding out like some half past six job by just welding a nut to the sides.

Currently trying to get the RMZ tail fitted sweetly by next week.

which is the recommended jet kit? wats the price like? can i just use normal pins?

i would recommend James Dean jet kit..

get yourself registered at thumpertalk and supermoto..

in the MO thread at supermoto, i'm doing a order for JD kits..

Price is $150 inclusive shipping. ( excluding government tax)

order includes air/fuel screw too(needa buy seperately from the kit..

do a search on James Dean jetting kit or JD jetting kit..

they will explain almost everything..

here's links on why do we need rejetting..

http://www.jetsrus.com/FAQ_jet_kit.htm

http://www.jetsrus.com/FAQ_rejetting.htm

buying brandless jet are discouraged as they are poorly made and size may be be exact..

IMO, my $150 is very well spent.. reduces backfire significantly and throttle response becomes much better.. and i knew that my bike is not on stress due to lean mixture..

hmm capacity definitely less than original, i would say have to sacrifice at least 1 litre to 2litres from the stock.

..

this is a long list. i have removed the following items.

- Remove the bar end weights on the ends of your handlebars.

- Remove the rubber foot peg inserts.

- Remove the kickstand safety switch.

- Remove the clutch safety switch.

- Remove pair system.

DO THESE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

all these mods are up to individual whether to remove or not.
