One of my DRZs is a transport bike... stock carb with JD jetting and stock exhaust with 16T front sprocket and 41T rear.

Cruises easily at 90 -100 kmh and has an FC of 28km per litre. :thumb:

wow! 30km/L is a good sign.. am considering a drz after my 2A.. using as trasnport only.. so this is a plus for me..using aftermarket pipe wont affect the FC much right? unless keeping revving..

Raptor! how many DRZs u have? lol

anyway 16T front and 41T sprocket increases top speed or pick up?

wrong.. it's for better pick up.. you'll lose top end as you had up the front spocket..

stock is 15F 41R..

any special mod to be done if i wanna use 16 for the front?

read somewhere tht can't fit or something like tht

woh.. confusing.. i dun touch front spocket.. got mixed up.. sorry..

smaller front is for pick up, larger for top end..

16T for front just barely clear your chain slider..

why not down size the rear? at least it's easier..

Posted
actually i wanna do both 2gether, up the front and down the rear

16/38

WAH.. o_O

like this pick up slow sia.. you wanna cruise at 150kph??

i reckon 15/38 is enough.. if not 15/35 loh, it'll be almost near to 16/38..

guys i wanna fix a H&B aluminium topbox on my drz thus to enquire if all racks fit the H&B or its must to use the H&B rack. thanks.

H&B box can only fit H&B rack..

Can fit... but its a very close fit. Most mechanics will have a problem getting it to fit but Ah Seng of Mayo seems to be able to do it. Seems like you have to put the chain on the sprocket first before fitting it on. Kinda tricky due to the lack of space.

ermm, stock 15/41 can go 154km/h, now i on 14/40, can go 153 max, stock 15/41 wif leovince is 156.

14/40 makes the bike very torquey thou

there is a few if i'm not wrong but the more commonly used are

Acerbis SM and KTM SM front fender.

KTM Headlight should be ard 160-170 if i'm not wrong.

Fender should be ard 40bucks. Got mine from Dirtwheel.

So u got ur DRZ already?

4 Wheels move the body.2 Wheels move the soul.
