well, i too just got my DRZ, 2nd hand though, full system scorpion. how do we know if it's tuned or not? or if any of u guys has a meetup, maybe can come down to hv a look at my bike...keh keh keh....first time riding SM or even a scrambler, so know nuts about it. i'm just crazy over its look....

hi i jus bought my zee lyk 1 mth ago..recently jus change to leo vince pipe n smetimes there's a bit of back fire when i increase gear or close throttle..is it normal 4 u guys??

hi bro.. hv u had ur PAIR removed? or tuning done?

i'm new with zee as well..

rode it slightly more then a wk..

backfired a lot till i removed PAIR and had re-jettings plus tuning..

check through your exhaust system for leaks especially at the header area. if got leak, take out and reassemble again with a high temp sealant. are u using aftermarket higher flow air filter? what is your pilot jet size?

 

 

 

P.A.I.R valve has been discussed many times, search in this forum for the word 'pair'. show results as 'posts'

The new GPR without baffle is like thunder..!! just that it'll be illegal to ride it..

haha..yup like wad biting point says..sounds abit like leo vince muffler..power increase okok only ba..but i notice there's a slight leak at the middle..the place where the muffler is connected to the header..hais sian..

 

my mech said might be because its nt fitted properly dats why..tmr will head down agn..he's too busy today..guess tonight cant slp again liao..my bikey unwell:(

well, does a bckfire sounds like a very loud pop sound? just like when u switch the engine run switch to off then on? my scorpion when throttle close got like small pop pop pop...is that normal?

 

also just saw a guy riding zee at my mscp last nite, he too got a scorpion but his end muffler is black in colour whereas mine is chrome. r there 2 types of scorpion?

backfire is not good, it means your air/fuel ratio is too lean..

it's normal when you changed to a aftermarket exhaust..

do retune your carb settings asap to avoid damages to your bike..
