Hey guys,

Been reading the threads and noted that the fuel tank is a 10 + 2 litres.

However, was riding to work today, then suddently lose power then quickly change to Reserve. Only clock 150km. Hence, did my maths and thot with a 10L tank, would clock till about 300km, before i head for petrol.

Did another search on yahoo and some forums reporting 7 + 2 litres tank.

Clarifications needed. My owners manuel is in Jap, hence no help there.

Thanks folks :)

what problem exactly your rear shock faces??

You dun see ppl with Ohlins rear shock riding around..

furthermore rear shock is protected from the harshest abuse, it will not be spoilt easily unless really tampered with..

try to get another shop's opinion..

most DRZ had their rear shock set up wrongly.. ended up very soft..

improper suspension setting may affect FC too, get your suspension set up correctly, and you'll see a difference in FC..

Capacity is 4 US Gal about 15 litres, 50% more than the stock tank. Imho, anything bigger will be to too heavy and bulky. Able to use Acerbis lockable fuel cap too.

Polyethylene tanks are strong and durable compare to the original furthermore no corrossion or rust. If your bike fall flat on a flat ground most likely nothing will happen, skid and fall tank will have some scratches only

Have these polythylene tank on my old ride (DR650) for 10+ years

One thing to note, don't waste $ on having sticker on these tank as they may not last as the petrol will 'breathe' thru the tank and will not stick well after sometime.

Just to highlight that you could get the IMS sticker similar to the one seen in your previous pic attachment to paste on the IMS tank. I'm using one right now and it looks awesome :thumb:

Not sure if Ah Seng brings in the stickers in though..

Is it true that the newer Delta full system has higher restriction in the system?

Looking to get a system suited for longer journey, eg; Joo Chiat to CCK...

Hope you guys could help out...

Read my FAQ.

It covers most things and questions if you have for exhaust.

Go for Yoshi if you have the moolahs..

If not, the new LeoVince is quite promising..

Just a word of caution here with regards to using aftermarket headlight bulbs.

If the wattage is too high (read as very bright)... be prepared for wire melting and shorting and at worst... a wiring harness change out for the bike.

Oh thanks for the feedback.. but if voltage and watts of aftermarket light is the same as normal bulb, will it still cause the problems u stated?
