how often is the motard race held in singapore per year? if its is very often might wan to get one scram to take part

Can i also check with all black SM riders out there if they have plastics that don't line up? I've seen a couple and seems like they don't. Especially the airbox part connecting the rear fender. Most yellows do not have this problem. Puzzling!

This happens to me also. Play with the throttle and the engine dies. It died on me once at a petrol kiosk while I was turning a very tight turn (handle bar lock at right )and it died had to put the bike on the ground. Lucky walking speed.

 

I asked the guys at work and they said it could be the due to the stock jetting.

 

Anyone out there with different jets have this same problem?

 

I never notice about the plastic pieces not in line, will see later.

You saw the bike at Go Pa's? He is doing it up for me. Just took it out for a spin. Engine died on me when I throttled up on first gear. I wonder if it is the same problem as faced by some of the guys here?

just wanna add..have u removed dat clutch and kick stand switch? might accidentaly activated it...or pinched wiring....might even be like water in carby,dirty filter..I would even think to check ur fuse connectors..Lastly, inspect ur rectifier connector at the frame...see if dat helps bro...

i've only remove the clutch switch but not for the side stand.

 

bike not warmed up well enuff, tat engine die prob will more slightly surface

but the prob now is bike fully warmed up, den wen u ride a distance, it will die off

 

will be checking the air filter tml

If last time , U dun have problems wif ur jetting b4, I dun think u wanna mess ard with carby..cos the probs just surfaced after u ide it for quite sumtime..

 

one more thing, have you recently go JB and top petrol?..dirty fuel can cause it too..but den again..dis one,

i've been using JB fuel more den i use sg fuel.

mite be the carb dirty too.. will check it soon!

 

oh yah, ferrying females cfm will not affect ur bike performance, in fact if u ferry pretty ones, mite improve ur bike performance..
