Not good.... guys my DRZ is only a week old n it has a few problems...

1)While riding the engine can just stall of all of a sudden(approaching red light clutch in and roll over...bike still in idling...engine stall) then will take a awhile to start(cannot start stuck in the middle of the road like a co*k)..nearly cozing me to be involve in a few accident....in it's not once only...since day 1.sigh...

2)RPM of the bike can go high and low up to the bike's content(if idling is low i turn up the idling wif the idling pin it has no effect BUT ONLY after awhile and after some minute process eg restarting engine or open throttle a few times RPM rockets and vice versa for the high RPM.(Slow respond frm cab???)

3)When bike is hot(is DRZ suppose to be this hot??)it's difficult to engage gear...same feeling when i did not change engine oil for my previous rvf.

4)After throttling bike will take abt 1 sec delay to respond to the lowering of RPM,sounds like throttle cable "rusty" then slowly RPM will fall...in some cases bike can stall.

Went to bike shop to check wif mechanic he say cab problem!!!!!sighh...it's a new bike and cab got problem..proceed to Guan Hoe and the uncle ask me to cum back on thurs...got to withstand my crazy bike for another few days..

guys any idea wat is wrong wif my bike??anyone encounter these problems??and does guan hoe do a 1 for 1 exchange for faulty bike parts??or they will only "fix" ur problems and die die want u to settle for the "fixed" part???

your bike sounds like it belongs to the junkyard.. if i were you.. i insist on the whole bike to be replaced.

wahahaha i felt so too..imagine less than a week kana so many sh*t

but guan hoe ok la i go kick up a fuss then he change the whole cab for me....after change ok liao.....will update further if got any more screw up

Hi guys, need some advice on where to get this bike from? Any suggestions of motorshops on the east side or northeast side? I stay in Hougang.

I'm also open to getting a second hand version. You can PM me if you're selling.

By the way, I'm more partial to the black version as I used to ride a Husqvarna SM125 black one. Is there any price difference between the yellow and the black one?

Thanks,

Shane

yeah, i guessed so. that dirt bikes/motards dun have RPM and Fuel meter. but hey it comes with clock, and dual trip meters, thats good enuf for a motard oredi.

a few questions i would like to ask about motards, esp about the DRZ SM.

*wads the tank capacity?

*how far can it go before the need to top up?

*any fuel reserve light? or similar warning signs?

*compared to the WR400, which would be a better choice? (personal prefrence)

*would you guys welcome me to join you all when i get a motard? (silly question, for fun only haha)

motards are cool!!! Cheers!

10 litres. 8 litres with 2 litres of reserve.

About 230 KM riding at speeds up to 90KMH. Have a #145 main jet coz I have a Yoshimura full titanium exhaust system. On the track.... 105 KM max for a full tank.

*any fuel reserve light? or similar warning signs?

Warning sign?? Engine just dies on you.

*compared to the WR400, which would be a better choice? (personal prefrence)

No idea. Advisable not to get any conversion bikes... they are basically illegally modified unless you got alot of money to pay those boys in blue.

Agreed. Silly question.

thanks raptor.

maybe i'm too used to bikes with fuel meter or reserve light.

the DRZ no warning, engine just dies on you? how do you know how much fuel you have left then? or is there no way to tell?

is there some sort of fuel c*** to switch from maintank to reserve? at least you know that you are running on reserve and from there can estimate how much you've got left.

i'm totally new to motards and dirt bikes.
