oneamong_thefence and Ben > Not necessary. Do not think I know of any DRZ owners who have done either ground or installed revtec. However another variation know as the "rectifier mod" has been done on one or two DRZs.

A free mod whereby you do some wiring to obtain maximum/optimum charging for your battery. Will notice a significant voltage increase @ battery but not 15V.

Hi guys, i'm a vivid fan of the DRZ 400 SM. Really planning to get one in December during my bonus!

Currently, im looking around for the DRZ and i appreciate if anyone can tell me where's the best place to get a DRZ. Good customer services and all. Some of the shops that i went to gave me a look and everytime i asked how much is this and that, they were quite reluctant to ans my queries.

Its just that i want to get the best deal in town for the DRZ!

i'm 24 now and i hope to trade in my WR200 for atleast 2k. and top up maybe a few more ks. Haha.

Ok,hope you guys can give me some relevant inputs so i can continue the search for my black beauty.

Thanks.

As what oneamong_thefence mentioned, Mah would be a good place to check out. Heard they are packaging it with a road legal Leo Vince slip on as well.

Its recommended that you sell your WR2 to a private buyer. Most shops don't take in WR2 if I'm not wrong. Even if they did. It'd be in the $1,500 range or below.

Hi guys,

Thanks for the inputs. Whats the current price tag on the DRZ. Went to Loois motor last week and he quote a whooping 12k OTR. Is that the market price currently?

Think i'll just trade in my WR into the bike shop cuz i am intending to keep my plate number. So a DRZ going around with an FN plate should be mine in the near future. Ha.

Hmmm my fren jus OTRed 1 DRZ SM k7 for arnd 12.8k with second party insurance.

My guess is prices would hang round there for quire a while considering the high demand now. the parts on the k7 is simply awesome and is alot better compared to the k5 or 6 though

you sure it's way better? fat bar and tiny sliders are way better?!

just fyi, the clamps comes from stock RMZ450. there isn't much RMZ450 riders in singapore though, but on a US forum, riders who were riding RMZ450 changed the bars and the clamps almost immediately after they bought the bike. it is well known to break upon impact. That is for the case of the Clamps. the bar is a normal Renthal fatbar. people changed it because they prefer a specific bend.

one more thing, the K7 comes with 300mm front disc. that is 10mm smaller than the k5 and k6. i'm puzzled why this was done though but u can ask any supermotard riders or any other riders, a bigger disc is usually better.

you can read here for more info.
