Guys, help me can? Ok, My dearest rs 125 y2k, the valve broken already liao and seriously, i don't want to go to the shop to repair it once again. It's the 2nd time the valve broke and it cost me $400++ for the previous repair at wing tai. I asked my bf and he wanted to repair it on his own. Previously, i found this thread which give us tips to help us how to fix a broken valve, but i can't find the thread anymore. I don't know where the thread gone to! HOPE YOU GUYS CAN GIVE ME TIPS! I feel like crying upon knowing the valve is broken once again...

New valve cost $160-240, 2rd hand ard $50 .. i think i are being overcharged seriously by ur shop

sorry its Wing Yup Motor not Wing Tai. My gf wrote wrongly. tt time i change valve and valve cover because both brocken & total repair cost 400+. any kind soul knows where can i make a brand new stainless still valve & how much does it cost?

oh lycan i met my frens at causeway point ma...i stay batok..anyway i saw while riding my gf at westcoast area 1 rs125 oso riding his gf...gave u a nod oso...haha hi there!

 

 

problem!!! my speedo mulfuction...not moving at all the needle...always at zero now...and mileage oso not moving...how ah? suddenly spoil one lei yesterday...after nodding with lycan...:X how to repair ah? and if change one new speedo need how much? anyone got spare?

no point getting stainless steel valve cos the reviews from a few after installing wasn't good . . . get a new valve, change ur valve spring and oil seal . .. at the same time check the tension of ur valve cable . . . either or cable tension too high or ur valve not sitting properly when close . . . both will cause ur valve to break . . .

if u r riding RS125 '05 and below check ur speedo cable then ur speedo gear at ur front wheel, original speedo cable is $32, non original is around $18 to $25 depending on which bikeshop u go to, speedo gear '03 and below is around $148, '03 to '05 speedo gear is around $105(don't ask me why cos I also don't know . . .) '03 to '05 speedo gear won't spoilt so easily unless kana very high impact(accident) which break it . . . if u r riding RS125 '06 and above then check ur sensor at ur rear wheel . . . for '06 and above most likely u have to change the sensor which is about $300+(have to check and confirm for detail pricing)

okies done repaired at hua chin motors my speedo...the cable broke...dono why oso...-.-! maybe that time bump into a big hole with super heavy pillon then break...lol...original aprilia speedo cable onli 15bucks... luckily...haha...

 

 

ya la lycan not u at west coast...cuz it is same version rs125 as mine...mine 05 that one maybe older...wah valve break scary sia...hope ur bike is fine sista
