hi guys!! wanna ask, i am using milo tin riding replica verison, just overhauled and piston ran in already, tried to go over 7rpm, but still cant!! =(( is it because the milo tin is clotted with carbon?

 

There are too many possibility...carb, sealing of your block & head, valve opening, ability of full open your throttle(adjustment of you cable pull)....you should go back to the bikeshop to request them to recheck for you.

Forget one important thing, did the bikeshop select the right size piston for you? how they check? how they determine? Wrong size you can't gain your full rpm range.....

May I know how much does our clutch plates cost and where would be a good place to change. (dun wan to be carrot by the bikeshop w/o doing some hw)

 

And anyone know where to get the golden colour footrest, thinkin of changing it.

hmmm lycan doing the thumbs up sometimes not really advisable lei...quite dangerous oso lol...like that time i nodd at u while right turning if i do a thumbs up maybe mi n my rs125 will be on ur pillon seat liao haha...

 

but ok la i think normally i slow dwn or ride side by side when permit and nodd my head or wave if i can is alright ma...or i should buy a smily mouth sticker paste on my ff helmet haha...

Our clutch plate do not wore out so easily, it can last very long. Unless you always drag your first gear for very long time everytime you move off. Clutch plate its self per piece is $18, there are 6 pcs(Exclude steel plate). You can change at Ideal motor / First Motor. Do you feel you can't move off everytime you stopped? If it is, then its time for you to change.

if not mistaken, should be an aprilia 125 with 2 other bikes opposite serangoon mrt. along punggol road.

krr or something...

either they collided with each other or some vehicle ran through them.

dont know why 3 riders down.

ambulance was there, but still got 1 guy lying down on the road.

looks critical.

went to ah boy but not nice one lei...so thin oso...look so fake...

went to FW at bukit merah too ex $35!!! omg...

went to some other small bike shops but all v ugly and thin kind...where can buy those v nice one like those ppl use for yoke protectors? n how much the price???

if put on ur pipes

think the chances of melting are v high

 

if those carbon with grey n black square

wun melt so easily depending on ur exhaust temp

but the dwn side is they look fake

selling cuz i changed to light alloy sprocks keep them at home for spare but think no need la...haha

I feel that there is a slight difficulty in shift from 1st gear to neutral when stationary. It is stiff when come to a stop. Sometime I have to roll the bike slightly or turn off the ingnition then can easily shift to neutral.

 

Moving off, I need to throttle more, the bike feel weak in the initial moving off only. All the while I thought was because this bike is heavy therefore need to throttle more, is it related to the clutch??

I did change my engine oil at start of last month. Anyway it is after the change of the oil then this problem surface up.

Used sprockets are practically useless as wear rate/mark on chain used and spocket set is the same.. so as to say , another chain wit different wear mark will only cause the chain/sprocket to wear out even faster due to the uneven marking..

 

Brand new Front sprocket $18 , rear $15 ... labor to install $30-40+.. so wat the point to install a 2rd hand sprocket set .. u keep the set for urself would be a better option as ur light weight set will definety wear out within 1-3 months..

I'll be coming back to the Aprilia family, when the road-going version of this bike gets launched here. The new V4 litrebike from Aprilia. This is the race version, road version due for launch in late '08.
