RS125 is nice to ride on road and also as transport.. relatively problem free and quite fuel economical if kept stock.. only headache is the valve need regular servicing and a little lack of power

 

RS250 is rather hard on ride on road esp under crowded conditions and is very fuel gulping bike but a very bike to ride at night on clear twisty road and on track .

 

Given a option, personally i will choose my Rs125 over the Rs250 esp i am such a slow rider most of the time

ur old 250 is lying in a shop under a pile of junk and an inch thick dust .. i see already also stunned by the sad situation tat the poor bike is under .

wah 250cc FC is 13 to 15?!!! wow thats gulping lo...scary sia... anyway thanks alot for the info...maybe next time will get 1....but does the rs250 have problems on moving off? seems like rs125 have some problems moving off from stop...its slower than other 2b bikes... is it jus the tactic? or it is jus that our rear wheel bigger heavier thats y 1st gear half clutch move off more difficult? and oso does the rs250 have the power cut or cdi restriction like rs125? anymore 1st hand rs250 in the market?

hey guys.. i need help.

 

my bike skidded at carpark as the floor is wet and slippery. here's the thing, my front brake lever is broken and the rear brake is bent.. as well as some scratches and all.. and i realised that there's a puddle of oil left on the floor. im guessing its my 2t. i tried to find the source for the leak and i saw some black hose disconnected and oil spilling from it. what should i do now? should i call mah and ask them to send a tow truck over? or should i just go to some other repair shop nearby?

 

your help is greatly appreciated.

ai ya wet days skid in multi storey car park is common...dont worry abt the oil...it is your petrol la...u just gotta do the brakes nia... go to any repair shop should be able to do de...no need tow truck if still can ride...jus test everything b4 u start riding..

Moving off will need to throttle to 4k to move off smoothly. Aprilia 250s dun have power cuts but there is programmable cdi for the bike too. If u want to learn more about it and buy it in future. U can come to our 250 gathering this thursday at 9pm.

sigh...thursday i book in tekong for NS sigh...well i think next time ba... not so soon getting rs250 oso...but really adore them when see them on the road...

hi all , looking for a set of rs125 y2k fairings.

paintwork no need to be nice , so long the fairings do not have deep scratches that a new paint work cant cover.

also , on my right side , i cant reali clip the fairing onto my bike , fault on the skeleton or on my fairings?

Rotax engine got wad different from the newer model? Cos sometimes morning will bump into this working adult along tampines riding FP plate with arrow pipe race to work. I find the bumble bee tail quite nice.
