LOL we're talking about bikes now , class 3 with clean record wont make a difference in price , do you have 2B ? Pplate ? If you're 22yo and P-plater , your insurance would be quite expensive too . Hmmm I guess the only place you can go to is Mah Motor , I went to sporting but they asked me to go to Mah instead .

There are a lot of other issues with the bike, e.g. oil indicator and rear break light not functional, rpm not stable in idling, jump low/high when lean the bike, air filter was removed...

hi dude..once i heard the news that Aprilia will be moving to FS..i went out to get a new RS125..this is the last of the smokers...

looks wise is suggestive, personally if u ask me,i take the bumble bee one over the others as its as close to a GP125 bike in design..

if u looking into the 125 area and performance is 1 of yer top priority, plse remember FS can never keep pace with a smoker even with a 10foot pole..

if u into "all show and no go"..u have a couple of choices in the small sportsbike section..Derbi,R125,Reiju..all in which the RS125 will leave 'em right from the start and she keeps pulling and pulling till all u see in front is a bluish mist and a whiff of sweet smelling 2T.

i really do hope Aprilia have something up their sleeves with the RS4 125 but with strict emmission and what not,i do believe it be a fast 125 FS compared to the rest but still not capable to match the smoking RS125...

give u an example....bike 2 gear rolling speed till about 600metres.... my superstock RS125 manage to hit 152km.. a FS YZF R125 (with LV pipes),air filter,smaller n narrower rims manage a 137km

cheers

Hmmm a 4 stroke RS 125 , don't think it's worth . Looks wise , fairings derived directly from RSV4 , don't you think the pillion perch is too small , damm ugly IMO . GET RS 125 !

anyone ever tried running wif their powervalve open thru out e rev ranges?

Yes. It is not designed to do so. The optimal exhaust flow volume is achieved within a narrow powerband from 8,500rpm-11,000rpm.

Below that, your engine struggles as the exhaust port from the cylinder is too large. Ever fired the gas-operated open-bolt Section Automatic Weapon, or the Ultimax 100, or even the closed-bolt carrier M-16 at full-auto? If the pressure is too low, the bolt-carrier stops as there is insufficient pressure for the blowback. Similarly, the engine requires higher back pressure for lower-rev operation otherwise you will have a VERY boggy low-mid range. You will only get power when your revs hit 8,500rpm.

When I ran a permanently-open powervalve for track, my fuel consumption was 8km/litre. And it wasn't necessarily faster.

The powervalve is there for a reason. Until you fully understand its function, don't make unnecessary modifications to your 2-stroke internal combustion process.
