A simple 5kg package will set u back at least $100 excl taxes. But items will reach u in 3 working days ah and comes with all first class DHL service such as pick up from the location, tracking services and doorstep delivery within the stipulated time..

 

Bro..give me a number to contact...im through with parcel force...they slacking by the minute and they increased their freight costs... a 20kg carton cost me over $200 sing now...

ok i think i've gotta tow my bike to a bike shop to get my bike running again!

i've tried to jumpstart my rs 125 with a car but due to the fuel tank lock couldnt be unlocked by both my keys, there was no petrol to get the engine running. had to emo for half an hour downstairs. =( haha.

 

anyway can anybody please recommend me a tow service and a bike shop? (i have been quite outdated with this already) few years back i went to ah seng at FM (ubi)

damn, is there an way to get my bike somewhere near your kinda tuning?am totally new to riding and thus doing plug job and adjusting jet sizing is a little too outta my league now.

would love to get the horns done up but i have no idea how to get it wired up. was reading some manuals and reliased i need to get a relay or something. the manual's unclear so was hoping if anyone around with the expertise is keen on doing up a horn too, maybe i can go look see look see and learn some stuff.

 

 

Nv too late to learn as long as you are willing. I'm still a P plater, went PG with my orange underwear hang infront of my bike. Now (still p plate) fully understand the stock bike, going higher level to push my bike to the next level! Thanks!!

What's the model of spark plug u were using again? And where did u buy from?

For plug chops, BR9ES, Lim Ah Boy. Cheap and good for a one-time use for hacking the plug open after 5km.

 

For normal riding, B9EGV, FJT.

You can try Teck Thye. David's good with electrical wiring and if you insist, he will do a proper job, as in- soldering wires together and sealing them with heat-shrink tubing rather than twist and tape up with electrical tape (what 99% of all other bike shops in SG would do)

 

lawrence, u used the Colortune before rite? wana ask u sth. When i plug mine in, it seems that the bike is unable to idle well. Did u experience this when u were using urs? im just wondering if this is normal. And the weird thing is, no matter how much i turn the a/f screw im unable to get the bunsen blue flame. its always orange. ive tried turning it all the way in and also all the way out but makes no difference. starting to wonder if my colortune is faulty.

 

The Gunson ColorTune glass/transparent spark plug is not meant to be used under normal engine operation. It is just a tuning aid to help you determine if your carburetion on whatever throttle position is rich or lean.

 

If I remember correctly, the heat rating on the plug is 10 or 11. The resistor is not thin like race plugs, so the spark is not quite as strong nor consistent. Like I said, not meant for actual riding- just to help u see the color of the flame.

 

If the flame is orange = too rich. Decrease the idle jet size.

 

There are 2 set ups for the 34mm carb (which is why I love it) - using an emulsion tube with an incorporated idle jet, or using a separate idle jet with the emulsion tube.

 

You need to change either or both of this to adjust the idle state if the air screw doesn't change the carburetion.

more than willing to learn. am still waiting for someone to start a diy. basic stuff like carb cleaning , valve cleaning and basic servicing would be something i really wanna learn.

I spent over 300 hours tuning my bike. I tweaked it everyday, experimented with different idle, needle, and main jet sizing in different combinations. I also did plug chops, destroying over 50 plugs just to get to the right state of tune.

 

As for horns, you'll need the Hella Supertone! Disc horns are proven better than snail horns. Higher penetrative power over traffic and vehicular noise insulation.
