You should really see the bikes in real life chris.....drool factor 10! and i definitely wouldn't bring them down to PG....don't want to risk damaging the paintjob :lovestruck:

hey thanks for the help... its the idling... a bit 2 low... was like at 1.1 touching 1... :thumb: but its alright now... now like getting a lot of ideas on the bike.... but unsure of wat first... and now really broke... :pity: just have to wait for next month...

We might be able to figure out why your idling was too low if you gave us the info I mentioned. Seeing as how the idling corrected itself, it could be as simple as your airbox being wet. Happened to me before, which is why I asked about smoke levels, etc, etc. By the way, the owner's manual shows you how to adjust your idling.

What kind of ideas do you have for your bike?

I'm still looking for a pair or armoured everyday riding pants that both fits me and suits our weather, and when I finally find it, I'm ditching my jeans.

There is this co. in Down Under called Draggin Jeans.

They sell jeans meant for biker wear.

And I have seen them do live demo's where this guy is literally dragged for about 50 metres on his butt and legs, scrapping the tarmac.

The jeans was looked alittle worn but did not tear.

Material feels and looks like normal denim.

Apparently, the magic is in the stiching.

A pair cost about Aus$150 if I remember correctly.

Good stuff if you need something strong for everyday wear while riding.

Draggin Jeans seems interesting....i wonder if they have dealers here in sg....

check it out at Draggin Jeans

BTW they are a US based company

They even have armoured shirts! o_O And their CE approved armour uses honeycombed magnesium core....really really impressive

Wow! Draggin' Jeans could be just what I was looking for! Thanks CMYRS! Hanif, it looks like the original company is US-based, but it has an official Australian licensee, which actually seems to have a significantly larger product line than the US parent company. Found all this out from the parent company's FAQs.

This is really cool - they have Kevlar-lined and CE-armoured formal office pants!?!! I'm definitely gonna get me one of those. And one of those armoured denim jackets (Kevlar-lined, of course) would fit nicely in my fiancee's wardrobe. Heck, I want everything!!! Talk about stealth armour, hahah!

The Australian company charges US$10 more than the US company for the classic jeans, and seems to be slightly more expensive across the board, but I wonder if we'd end up still saving due the lower shipping costs (Down Under is practically next door compared to USA). I'll have to fill my shopping cart to find out, heheh...

yep..

its secured..

its uses hooks lah..

they have hooks all around at the edges of the netting..

so if u want to secure ur helmet, put ur helmet on the tank or the rear seat, just strecth it all the way to the end of the tank or to ur undercarriage...

but be warn..

wrongly hook, might scratch ur tank or ur tail..

might as well use a helmet bag right...

Heheh, Law and I didn't check out the Draggin' Jeans shop today, so when we do check it out we'll give you a buzz. If it really is as good as it looks online, my prayers may indeed have been answered. Still got to go with you to MotorX to buy Broquet - I wanna buy another one for my XR200, so I'll buzz you sometime soon.

About the Unil-Opal 2T - goes to show that Lawrence has been genuine about keeping his prices low instead of chopping people for a quick profit. All the more reason to support him when we can.

Hi Hanif,

Pls keep my Unil-Opal pricing within our group.

Remember that I'm letting you guys have it way below recommended retail (Recommended @ S$25-30). My prices are confidential. You guys get to buy top grade oil without paying for GST, shipping, and overheads like shop rental etc. Because I started out by wanting something reasonably priced and good, for myself, ended up getting it for everyone.

And no Hanif, we're not 'targeting' you.

Hanif, bro, your long leather gloves with carbon fiber armour nicer than all of ours. Your RS Taichi armoured riding jacket fits you so perfectly. Your bike so fast can go 200km/h. You might as well complete the package with a full-face so those stupid people who tease you so foolishly can have something more to be jealous about.

I just DONT want to see another friend die.

You know the AYE accident on 17th May? Just this week? Yeah, I knew that lady biker.

So,w e wont even bother to nag if we didnt care about you, you know. Seriously

If you cant afford one take mine first.

Will be going with Chris to check out the Draggin Jeans and other stuff next week. Those interested in joining us, just come. We bring you go kai kai.

Believe nothing you hear; and only half of what you see.

Do or do not; there is no 'try'.
