actually i aready found a bike shop which will take in my bike for quite a nice price , but dats provided i take out a cls 2 bike from them lol....

so now still tinking ......

2.5 k for a rs250 is defientely a real insult to us aprillians ......

which shop offer dat price ?

my left middle fairing got some scratches from a fall

maybe nid to change piston too ..

before tis i done a overhual on my bike, new crankshaft,new pistons, new clutch plates,adds up to almost 1.8 k

if ur willing to fork out all these den pm me ...

i believe not much pll is so hardcore in 250 to spend so much to make a track ready bike.

don't be mistaken that the 1000cc refer to the piston cc

i'm refering to the engine cc which is the amount of gear oil you poured in..

rotax 123 engine need 1000cc of gear oil..

and for newer rotax 122 engine, it only needs an amount of 600cc, it's stated on the clutch casing..

 

anyway, Axxis.. just the serial no?? ya mean the the replica engine no. doesn't tally with

a y2k engine?? Ideal can't possibly be so ignorant and dunno wat to do bout it huh??

ya can just find someone to erase off the serial and re-punch the no. like what most car repair shops do

and if replica engine really can fit, and ya need someone skilled in this area, i can call my uncle and see

whether does he still has any such contacts.. he's a mechanic and mentioned that the labour fees to engage

such people is quite high..

Woah, I was just fantasizing with Lawrence the other night about such an HUD device. I would pay good money for something like this - it would be mind blowing! Did you see this device on a bike or car? In Malaysia, Australia, or elsewhere? How would it be installed in your visor? Anyone have any leads?

 

 

 

It is mind blowing after actually seeing it projected in the helmet!

And its at night and the red glowing no.s and rpm dial really stands out.

It really feels like ure in a cockpit of a fighter jet.

 

I remember projectiion was from inside the helmet not outside.

 

I saw it when I was on the track in Sydney with a bunch of hardcore bikers who

annually ship their bikes to various parts of Europe to use the tracks there.

They apparently bought it from over there, which part of Europe, this I dont recall.

 

This technology is not new. Its just no one ever really bothered to apply for bike use. They had this in the S13 Silvia back in '89. HUD showing speed and rpm.

Projection from inside!!! Then it looks like it isn't the Veypor HUD unit. Getting curiouser and curiouser, this is.

 

Yup, HUD tech isn't new, and they have it in BMW saloons as an option now. Siemens VDO makes BMW's HUDs. Lawrence, we've been looking at VDO digital speedos, right? Any chance of finding out if they have HUDs?

yarh, it is the 2 piece of thing.. n when i say tank i mean the whole tank, the inner tank n the tank fairing.. its juz tank....

eh valve extractor can be self make...

i'd seen it before.. and roughly knows to make 1 using some metal plates.

there is an OMV listed on the log card for bikes but it doesn't mean much with bikes because there is no PARF like with cars which is a "scrap" value calculated as a % of OMV depending on the cars age.

the price now for new bike is about $11k on run....it will come with the slim rs pipe(no more milo can....cheers to it man!)....as for top speed...with that pipe,170km/h shouldn't be a problem....

I wonder why its taking so long for it to be implemented in helmets when its so much more useful for a rider than a driver.
