It's the normal SPC engine oil. Definately not syn or semi syn and doubt its mineral also. Since oil filter ah neh kui ... must look for aftermarket ones liao.

u can always go get your original oil-filters from outside PI for Yamaha parts. for eg; AC or AM.

Hi,Welcome to the club Benny~!

Where did u get your Tmax From?Got Warranty?

Yours shld be a carb model..our fren Cheeko is an expert with MAssive amounts of hands on experience.

Your front brake wobble may be caused by brake disc warp, then again, its just my wild guess according to your description.

Your battery i cannot tell u exactly how many volts is normal as i dun have a volt meter on.if the bike dun charge properly, hope its not the rectifier or magnetic coil..thats gonna cost..

All Tmax's (From gen 1 to current gen) all in miles..its a jap scooter (Some say bike) that's made for the westerners.thus in miles..but in hongkong its in kms..i tink shld be able to change..but after owning 2 Tmaxs, gotten used to it..when u get used to it,not so much of an issue..

Do meet up soon!

I got de bike from a guy called xdude, just COI only. heard de first owner is de boss of a bike shop one.

regarding de brakes, i'm not sure. but will bleed it first den decide later, maybe got air bubbles inside de hoses.

and de mileage in miles well, still confusing cos i'm too used to km from my other bikes. haha..

kk, seeya guys soon.

btw, off topic. norick abe has a tmax as well right?

YES..Norick Abe Died on his Tmax as a Trailer was making a lane change or u-turn n nv see him nor did de driver indicate.

Rumour has it that Rossi owns a Tmax as well n rides it in Italy..how true i dunno as some ppl in italy has seen him ride in the pits of the track..maybe its just a pit bike..no solid proof.

If used to be frm a boss of certain bike shop,it must be Excel's..Cagiva03 a.k.a Mingquan is familiar with it..maybe he can shed some light.

I read you all argument on Tmax price in S'pore with envy! Price like 14.5k - 17k! Damn! Here it cost about 53k! Even 2nd hand 2001 model was sold above 30k by the shop!

Don't get me started on parts cost.. cheeko used to help me bought the parts and he know how much we been slaughtered by the shop here..

Are you in Malaysia? My old goldwing kaki said the very same words to me. An 1800 cost RM$173000.00 to RM180000.00. Even after exchange rate ... it costs a cool S$80000.00. Some of the Malaysian wingers are buying Sgp reg wing for use in Msia.

Yes, I am malaysian.

The AP policy here shoot the price up. I also sometime have to make trip to Singapore for Tmax parts. Sometime I ordered online and pray it passed the custom without additional tax slapped on the items.

I met singaporean on the way to Phuket recently and he told me that he has 2 tmax at home! For the amount I paid for my TMax.. I would also afford to keep two unit!

Btw, my belt gonna due for change soon. Any shop in Singapore that has ready stock? Or I have to order first?

I was told by many many mechanics including MT that we should change our batt annually. This change is necessary even if the old one is still in pretty good condition as it will save your alternator from working overtime. I have faithfully followed this regime (not annually but every one and a half year) of replacing the bike's batt and have never had any alternator or electrical problem. Just sharing.
