Hello All Divvy Riders!

I've been looking for Yamaha Seca II for months already.

Anyone riding one letting go here?

Hi Ahmeng007,

There is a new Diversion 600cc 2009 model on the market, semi faired and cafe racer type models. I've no idea whether HL bringing it in or not but it's already in the UK market. It have all the geometery of seca II but better lighter, more nicer and cheaper then fazer 600, if you intend to look for the new version. It's a matter of wait and see or check it with HL...

Whether is a 600 or 900 is still below to the XJ family.

If it is a 600cc shaft driven, i may even consider buying it.

Hi Kevin,

How is your bike coming repairing or totally scrap? XJ 600 for 2009 is already on the market chain driven.

The question is whether there is a 900 version- coming up?

For me I think it's a matter of time only...

I heard he had to undergo an operation- he had a bad face and head injury warded in NUH. we all wish him all the best and a quick recovery.

silverghost...:(

my well wishes to him.

i passed by the area, the rider was lying down on the 2nd lane but his divvy was on the 3rd lane. i was quite worried as he was lying down motionless but my colleague told me he was okay as he was being put on strecher when the company passed by the scene.

i guess the authority should let bike go on shoulder during the peak hour. if the authority let the riders travel on the shoulder, precious lives needed not to be lost.

Hi MonoWorld and divvy buggers,

Haroze and myself visited him at NUH just a moment ago he need to go an operation tomorrow about 11am most of his injury were on his face- nose broken chick bone broken head bruises face still abit swollen. He talked to us- A few minute later we left ,he is at ward 26 bed 21.

(Wearing a full face helmet can make alot of difference too).

As you say riding on road shoulder during peak hours is a question for all to think not only that- Bus lane at peak hours should be use by bikes too- in the first place bike do not occupy much of the lane compared to a car the bikes move off faster.

Rather then forcing them to squeeze between the half sleepy car drivers and worse off all a 3 lane becomes 2 lane during the worse time again peak hours. The best part during restricted bus lane hours it's clear most of the time it's a kind of not fully utilizing the road. what a waste.!

I fully agree, but as for road shoulder, it mainly use for emergency veh like Ambulance, the longer it takes to arrived the accident scene, chances of having survivors is lesser.

Hi Heyrul,

Looks like for handphone calls...most car stopped along the road shoulder- i seen were drivers talking on their hp.

I so far did not see any emergency vehicle using it- maybe they have, i not sure about it but then again bikes can just move a side if there is a emergency vehicle approaching. But then again about the bus lane is a waste, bus lane like at orchard rd -city road is ok.

If they want to do a bus lane at common road, they should build another road not just draw a yellow lane on a road and tell other vehicles to squeeze with other road users.:dot:

the bus advertise that they are greener how.? if the bus is full yes how about when the bus with few passenger only -how they calculate that green... silly people. looks like I'm off topic he,he,hee!

Looks like that oil aint' getting any cheaper. I'm still sticking to my maxima though.

About, Din, our fellow mate, has been discharged from the hospital and hope he will get well day by day.

Discard those "half caps helmets" for those who wears one as they are not really safe although PSB approved. Nothing cost more than your head and face.

Hi Bro BA,

It's true what you've said. Actually half caps does not protect your head in the event of an accident or a fall but people still buying them just for stylo only, this people totally forget about the aftermaths consequences after an accident and who will be suffering most "your family".

It's important to get a helmet which able to lock the visior, in the event if you fall the visior does not open in an impact compare to a normal cheap helmet where the visior swings open.

If people are comfortable using a full face helmet - anything above $100+ for a full face helmet is quite good enough. Branded helmets can give you that extra comfort of trust, in another word you pay what you get.

Some buy branded helmets like shoei, arai, nolan and so on because of it's brand they have history, reputation, dedication on racing track and have been proven from years of research and not forgetting quality too.

If you are one of those people 'out there' who like to speed most of the time get a full face.
