The Pioneer Zone 12 RC will be organising a Safety Riding Convoy around the Pioneer Area (CSSP event) we have also invited riding instructor from BBDC to show us the Defensive riding.

Date : 6 June 2010 (Sun)

Time : 0900 to 1430

Venue : Blk 653A Jurong West St 61

Registration fee : S$10 each

(1 long slevee t-shirt, goodie bags, lunch, lucky draw etc)

I ever tried the NT700V, a vtwin engine, first time try but doesn't suit me. Feels torqy and the gear to rpm ratio turns me off. Riding inline 4 for decades, I feel one should consider carefuly before buying this Tenere1200z. Good enduro ride but obviously not for commuting.

 

I think the closest comparison to the diversion is the fjr1300, only electronic injection and bigger cc. The rest is within par.

I agree.... can't compare the Tenere with the Diversion....

 

maybe the Tenere is comparable to the BMW GS series....

seems like Yamaha is targeting that particular off-road, Dakar-type riders....

 

So far, to me, no other bike can beat the Yamaha Diversion in terms of gentlemanly looks and sexy curves except the FJR1300.... Look how smart our Traffic Policemen look on the Diversions.... A glimpse of the 'lionhead', and other motorists give way to them - that is pure RESPECT!!!

 

No offense, but to me, the STX and the Kawasaki Concours simply looks.... fat......

I like and definitely agree to this idea, but imagine this: would you like to see JB riders zipping away on 900cc shaft-driven 'waves' every early morning and late evening???

 

there's a reason why they make 'big' bikes expensive..... if u ask me, i'd prefer things to remain the way it's been.... which is to keep a clear distinction between owning a bike 'for transport' and 'for passion'...

 

PS: I definitely didn't buy a Diversion 'for transport'..... If it was, i'd buy myself a 'wave' 4 years ago....

Expensive or not it's up to it's own mindset.

Someone ever try to buy a Divvy using a wave price so does tat means Divvy=Wave?

 

PS: there are bikers using FJR as their daily transport so does tat means FJR=wave?

Hey divvy buggers!!! I was juz surfing bike mart and guess wat? Swift is selling off his white Divvy for $9k!!!

 

So i'm just spreading the word....

2. the increased demand for this bike as of late and

 

3. convincing the owner to sell off his 'PRECIOUS....'
