veri sori bro, identities of the lead rider will be kept strictly confidential to avoid any further disputes....

Well said, bro... We are all adults here, our task is not to play the blame game, but to identify the mistake and rectify it...

We will plan a proper one this time, and make up for the lost one...

All we want now is to go eat the kulai nasi lemak TOGETHER, and go back TOGETHER.... SAFELY...

Buggers, i have an idea!!! I thought of planning a ONE day trip, on Sunday, 12 Dec...

I have three itineries...

1. We go riding to Pontian, have lunch at Kukup, den visit Tanjong Piai (The Southern-Most Tip of South-East Asia) and end with dinner at Kulai Nasi Lemak.

2. We go riding to Kota Tinggi, play at waterfalls n end wif dinner at Kulai nasi lemak.

3. We go riding to Desaru, play at the beach, play go-karts and end wif dinner at Kulai nasi lemak..

Wat do u guys think? Any takers?

I have successfully converted my iPhone into a GPS n also an offline map. I have spent the last four hours staring at the JB map from 2nd link to kulai, trying to figure out where we went wrong, which route we used to bactrack n where the kulai nasi lemak actually is... Tink i can figure where it is already, just need to get on the ground to confirm e exact spot... :)))

I have an idea! Since we didn't get a chance to eat nasi lemak that day, y don't we have a meetup at Changi Village instead? Then we can convoy ride the looooong airport road towards ECP all the way to Labrador Park n chill by the sea? How's that? Or we can use another route via South Buona Vista Rd to play corner a bit... At a safe speed, of course...

Instead of Labrador, we can climb a mini Cameron to our own Kent Ridge Park, which has an excellent view of the sea at Pasir Panjang... How??

Had my rear shocks replaced to Hyperpro 3D rear shock type 460 streetbox set. Promotion price at motorworld $950, normal at $1300. Mono oem shock feels too soft due to wear and tear. Decided to change the whole set rather than changing just the progressive springs.

Verdict :

Front

Progressive springs and SAE15 hyperpro fork oil replaced. Better braking and faster rebound when hitting humps. Emergency braking feels confident and stable.

Rear

Rear emulsion shock with progressive springs replaced.Better handling and bike doesn't wallow during cornering. 50 clicks rebound adjustment. Settings as per rider's preference. Bike feels a bit high after replacement of shocks. If you are 1.75m tall, then its fine else have to buy a suspension lowering kit available in ebay.

Conclusion

Riding for 4 years on this bike. Finally, a new shocks replaced with a small black hole in a pocket and a great feeling at heart. Confidence and satisfaction aside, the replacement of new shocks is worth the money. Go for the technical stuffs rather than aesthethic junkies cos its the heart that matters most, not the looks.

Shall we have nasi lemak 1st before we start the ride? Know of any nice nasi lemak stalls n a place we can park? Or we are all comfortable with parking at the biiiig carpark near the bus terminal? (not the bapok carpark, the other one!!). Pls note that the biiig carpark along telok paku road that i m referring to may already have a gantry installed, for erp parking, so get ur cashcards ready!!

December is a wet month, do bring along ur rain gear.

Here's the route:

Tentatively, after dinner, and if the weather is good, we shall move off from Changi Village along telok paku road towards changi coast road headed for ecp...

We will be travelling westwards trans-island on the ecp, and, depending on the weather n road conditions, exit at keppel road towards labrador park.

However, if the weather is good, the organisers (raziel n I) may decide to exit at NUH instead, n play corner a bit at south buona vista rd before reaching labrador park...

We may also try to climb kent ridge park / labrador park if the group feels a bit adventurous that night... :)

bro,by the time the rest arrives and eating nasi lemak tcc,it would be almost 10pm...and take note tat some of us are working morning shift the following day....i would suggest tat we meetup at changi beach carpark no.4(no gantry)and while waiting for the others,we can enjoy the wind breeze and from there we proceed to labrador..coz eating tere will surely take up more time(unless takeaway...heheheh)..juz my 2cents thought...:cheeky:
