Carrefour has a new smaller ones.

I got tht early last year at a car accessories shop in AMK Industrial park.

 

The new model tht carrefour carries is much smaller and i think it costs ard $25?

Even if it is not.. you can water proof it with some silicon (seal at the critical location)

yah but not many know how to read the voltmeter to tell whether the components on the bike is functioning at optimal rate.

i will be getting that in exchange withthe Gunson Colourtuner which didn't fit my sparkplug head.. as LimSteel said, is is a ;used once in a while and put aside thingy'.. but i still would love to put the voltmeter in place cos of the 'cool factor' . :smile:

i am not saying that i dunno how to.. maybe most just put it for the sake of putting one, see some bikes that go the v1 last time with one that the needle doesnt move at all.

It should be waterproof.

Mine has gone tru the past few months thunderstorms and the display still showing up perfectly.

I have a used autogauge voltmeter and vacuum meter used on my gti before, willing to let it go for 70 bucks.. anyone interested can email me...

The reading, on the left is The Temperture of my chassis and on the right, Its the Voltage of my Batt.

 

You can find something similiar @ Motorworld. It has 3 colums.

 

Got mine from Excel. But they dun have it already.

Anyway all car is 12v. Some Truck or lorry have 24v. Actually if any of you guys is electronic incline or want to DIY a voltmeter; You can do a search on the internet, there is plenty of website showing how to do a simple LED type of 12v voltmeter. It quite simple and can get all the stuff from sim lim tower. The most important of all is, it can be made till very small and compact compare to those on the shelves type.

i am going to install a charging indicator that is very compact in size. works on 3 led- red, amber and green (i think). brand is BlackFox. will upload pic once i installed. its waterproof. i will be able to buy for u all if u all are interested after seeing it on my bike.

 

should be able to get it done up next wk.

My frend has this thing on his bike.Its not exactly a voltmeter.Just let you know that the bike's battery is working and charging.If not mistaken $30++ from Planet@Ubi.
