In addition,

DOC /w wife

Damien /w wife

Motocafe /w friend.. eh... oops.. forgot the name. (was there hoping to inquire more on the Multistrada)

Hope the wifey club didn't get too bored by the man's talk.

Met up early and departed at abt 10 plus close to 11pm.

Short and simple format.

Looks like Ducati will have a good MotoGP season.

Can't wait for Spain Jerez.

Thanks for taking time out for the kopi session.

Think the next kopi might be on a MotoGP day if it's showing on a Sunday evening.

Has anyone tried Forza brand carbon pipes? It is sold by Ferracci. How would it compare to termis?

Anyone letting go of a pair of carbon termis for SS900?

I think it is difficult to find a seller but trying anyway

When it comes to bikes, I only see red…

Think u'll be quite safe as long as you get the exhaust with the matching chip. (else, you might get worse performance)

Finally , the long wait is over!!!! Finally got my bike today....I am surprised by the handling, its much more better than my previous K5 600....Thats funny...

Just a question. When i try letting go the clutch during moving off, there is a loud creaking sound.(Seems like the gears are rubbing against one another.) In order not to let it happen, i must half clutch for a longer period then fully engage. Does any bro here face the same problems? Is it due to the dry clutch, or is it becos the clutch pads are finishing. But it is quite impossible cos the bike only has a mileage of 3800km...

My race chip is having some problems so i am running now on Termi slip-ons and original ECU...Is there any chance to claim back the race chip since the bike is still under warrenty???

Because Ducati Superbikes are very focused track machines, they come with very tall 1st gear. Trick is to not let the RPMS drop below 3000 during gearshifts.

I usually clutch out fully at around 2000 to 2500rpms in 1st gear. Careful though, don't slip the clutch too much, let it fully engage before gassing it, else the clutch plates can wear out prematurely.

Good handling? You havn't seen the better half of it yet. The riding position is much more aggressive than the GSXR600, and when going round a track it really makes sense.

And yes, you should get the proper chip. Should be under warrenty.

for the loud creaking sound it may be due to your close type clutch cover. all the dust is trapped in there and engaging gears dont seem smooth.

try to remove the cover and ride it. if the noise goes away then get a vented cover.

Not too sure but do check out on the clutch plates if you're running a non-ventilated clutch cover. Open it up and use an air-gun to blow out all the dust... but wait... wear goggles and a mouth/nose cover please.

Trust, how to change engine oil.

Take out your fairing, at the bottom of the engine on the clutch side, you'll find a allen-keyed bolt at the bottom of the engine.

Tada.... so a relatively easy job.

Just to test water....

This is the year that I think Ducati has serious firepower to consistently finish in podium. We'll find out very soon in Jerez, Spain.

Anyway, was wondering how many of us here would be willing to take time off when MotoGP visits Sepang, Malaysia for a weekend getaway.

Perhaps bring your family away to watch the MotoGP/holiday in KL etc etc.

Leave for KL on a Friday night on a coach, rest in a hotel till Sat morning.

Then leave for Sepang track on Sat for qualifying session and perhaps Minerva can help to secure a pit visit and close up with the Ducati riders and machine.

Back to town for R&R,shopping and dinner/chill-out.

Then Sunday an all-out support for Team Ducati (hopefully by that time of the season, they are consistently on podium finishes. )

Cos last year, Minerva tried to organise one but was a flop.....

Anyone? Comments?

I wanna get Loris Capirossi to autograph my bike! :D

I don't mind paying more if we can get to

1) park inside the complex itself

2) Get to meet the Ducati team, not just riders

3) Maybe get the VIP room? :thumb:
