Friend chioed me down to watch at Simpang Bedok.....

They do show them live.

 

Exciting race.... 2nd wasn't bad considering Capirossi came way back from 7th....

Gibernau.... No comments.

That's gibernau... using up all his tire at the start of the race, leaving none left at the end. He should have gone for hard front and hard rear for all his races.

Gibernau's excuse was toe slider worn out and cause his little toe to bleed abit... :sweat:

 

Anyway, think Gibernau has lost the edge. Throughout when he and Rossi were dicing for 1st/2nd, Gibernau could not and was not like before...

 

Hope he'll do better and better as each rounds goes.

BTW, swapped from Motul 300V 20-50 to Amsoil 10-40.

Quite like it and engine feels better cos it's fresh oil compared to used Motul 300V.....

 

10-40 fully synthetic makes sense considering that Ducati V-twins are not your typical low-rpm V-twin engines.

Desmosedici RR Sold Out in U.S.

 

The entire first year North American production for the Ducati Desmosedici RR was sold out in five hours. When Ducati dealers were allowed to accept orders, buyers were ready and waiting. Roadracing World notes the MSRP for the bike is $65,000 and as we noted before, current owners of the 999R will be given priority which caused one prospective buyer to purchase a Ducati Xerox 999R on the spot.

 

I guess some folks have a little more money to play with than the average motorcycle buyer. As I mentioned the other day, I hope these guys take these out on the track instead of trying to explore the boundaries of a street legal MotoGP bike on some back canyon road. Of course, a few of these purchases are for pure speculation and resale which means they’ll see no use at all.
