Dang, is that 1098 sweeeeeet!!!!

Now I have to go lie down before I do something stupid---like look for my checkbook.

M4S

Kekeke....why not we do that in States?

It's growing on me.....I might just give up all thoughts on 748, 749, 675 or MV Aug already :D

Then what we can do is, we both ride to LV, and take a pic and post it in SBF for our brudders here, wahahaha!!!!

And maybe we get a discount if we get two at once from the same dealer?

But we better not post here about buying new 1098's for the equivalent of less than S$25,000. Otherwise, we might find ourselves banned from SBF! There are TOO many cool bikes coming out...

Wahaha, you bet I will post here if I do get the 1098 and take a snapshot in LV with you on your 1098

Many frens here would be happy for us, dun think they will recommend us for ban, lol. And I would also post the OTR info and the hidden costs involved to get the bike OTR, so as to share an insight into bike ownership in States.

Keeping my fingers crossed they make the Biposto Ver and I get my job soon when I go over.....damn, this is making me all excited already!!! And yup, too many cool bikes coming out and sooner or later, someone would make a 1100cc V Twin too, to answer Duc's threat at a more affordable price.

Am I the only one who thinks the 1098 doesn't look as good as the 999?

Especially the front end. Goodness what a mess!

Ok, I shall reserve my final judgement till I see it in the metal. :D

Get a wife who is American.....

Other than that, you could try to apply yourself and it could take a long while. Another good way is to work under a US company and they sponsor you for the green card.

Hi all,

I am looking for a preowned 998. Does anyone here rides this bike and having thoughts of parting ways with your 998?

I am a long time admirer of the 916-998 Ducs and I think its time for me to get my very own. There is a 916SP3 on sale in the garage section but i would prefer the 998.

later...

:p

I dun think any bike Ducati design nor any bike design will ever surpass the ever-green classic iconic 916/996/998.

Then again, the 1098 has set the benchmark for all manufacturer Superbike....

When''s the next kopi outing?

I have read in the lauch review of the 1098 somewhere that Duc has returned to the 916-998 design beause the 999 is not selling as well.

I am also one of those who still gets turned on by the looks of the 916-998 models. It may not be as quick as a Jap bike but the 916-998 will always turn heads. Anyway, ppl will start turning their heads even before it appears cos of the sweet noises it makes.

later..

:p
